Need to rant, sorry ahead of time for the tirade, The people have spoken and I have changed my political position. I am no longer anti-tax and I will support any and all tax and fee increases going forward at every level of government for the next 4 years. Raise property taxes, raise the sales tax, enact tolls on all bridges, tunnels, and interstates, raise the gas tax, add a milage tax... and on the federal side raise the income tax, not just on the rich, but for everybody, let the payroll tax reduction expire, raise the healthcare tax/penalty, raise all fees, and eliminate all tax credits and deductions. I am now an all of the above kind of guy. Afterall, that is what we have been voting for. Free healthcare, free birth control, free food, free trains and free train rides, free cell phones, cash for clunkers, free arenas with a new basketball team, free development everywhere, it goes on and on. It is about time people see what it is like to pay for all this free stuff. Until then, we will never get back on track, but instead will keep voting for free stuff until the Ponzi Scheme crashes. Raise taxes, fees, and tolls on all.
I have said the same before and waffle back and forth. It’s hard to fix a flat tire when it is still turning and on the car.
You don’t even have to be half blood navaho. Lizzie Warren believed without proof that she was 1/32 Cherokee and did not hesitate to claim native American status to further her career...
So from now on, I’m checking the Hispanic box on forms, because I have a great great great grandparent who dressed like a matador in a photo, and had a Spanish last name.
And I’m applying for food stamps asap, as my income is low. Was too proud to do it before, but no more. We need to do all we can to crash this clown car.

We can strive to starve this government into crashing...let the democrats do as they wish with taxes and regulation...lower your economic footprint to as small as possible for a few years. Indeed, focus on dealing in cash or barter with like minded people. We are the productive ones under which the engine of the economy runs...I say let it run out of gas!

In a way we would have probably been just as well off if the Dems had taken control of the House also. If they had, then we could move more quickly toward socialism because that is where we are headed anyway. The faster we get there the faster the people who voted for Obama will find out just how bad it will be. This slow drip toward socialism is like Chinese water torture, drip, drip, drip !!
Not true, we need the republican house. If the Dems had full control, they would have only raised taxes on the rich and there would have been no backlash. We need to raise taxes on everyone. We need the people who eke out a living with $500 paychecks that voted for Obama see how creative they can get with $400 paychecks.
I’m gonna max out student loan programs take the checks and buy a killer Mustang. Lose my job claim hardship and get on a $25.00 a month payment program....!!!!! I got lot’s of great ideas on how to be a Great American in the new utopia!!!

Sorry KG, they are no longer the “Bush Tax Cuts”. They are the “Obama Tax Rates”, as Barack Obama signed off in 2010 on extending the rates that have been in place since 2003 or so, first enacted under GWB. Barack Obama, Not GWB, owns the current tax rates.
I suggest making that point to any and all who decry the “Bush Tax Cuts for the Rich”.

Is there something more noble in becoming socialist more slowly? Don’t we end up socialist either way? This way, it is on the Dems since they are driving. You way, it is on the Republicans since they either did it or went along and either way there they will be blamed.
What if we had undercover candidates who could run saying liberal things (in blue places) and even out liberal the Dem candidate, sort of like you are saying. MORE free stuff for MORE people. Totally open borders. Then, once elected, they could “evolve”, never enacting any of these things, but giving limp lip service, “I tried so hard”. Do that for a cycle, get back in, get seniority and ultimately do an Arlen Specter. If timed all at once, the entire apparatus could be flipped all at once, enacting the right stuff early enough after an election for it to have worked by the next cycle.
Obama is about to allow the UN to regulate the Internet and our guns. Obama is about get the government to take over our healthcare.Romney said he would repeal Obamacare and leave it to the states. The even bigger problem will be that the people who do make it in the private sector will use their gains to by bigger TV's, nicer cars, better homes, and fancier vacations. Eventually, the takers depending on the government for everything will begin demanding also the bigger TV's and fancier cars, too, for no other reason than that the earners have them and the takers want them, too.

I hate to break the bad news, but we already live in a socialist country. Do you think the number of starving people in this country doubled in four years? Nope. The food stamp program isn’t about feeding hungry people, it’s about redistributing wealth. We are now buying the groceries for the people who vote Democrat. And honestly, how many people do you know that can’t work because they’re disabled? Is it the millions more on social security disability? The government is taking hard-earned taxpayer money and giving it to Democrats so they don’t have to work and so they’ll vote Democrat. And what about all those black and Hispanic and female make-believe pig farmers who each received $50,000 hard earned taxpayer money and they couldn’t tell you whether you feed a hog grass or oats. Oh, yeah, we already are a socialist nation. The Democrats have just been calling it by different names.

In Texas, the illegals get WIC and Lone Star card benefits. (welfare)
They use the Lone Star card to buy food.
Some of these ladies are real entrepreneurs.
Because there are multiples working in the one household, they use the benefit cards to buy food at WALMART.
Sometimes the monthly total is $1000-$1500 per lady.
They use the card to buy chicken, nothing but chicken.
Can you imagine how many baskets it takes to haul out $1500 worth of frozen pollo? (chicken to you, gringo)
Then they take that to their restaurant and sell it to their customers.
Either in sit down cafe type places, or by selling it out of their trunks at job sites. Government support at its finest. They pay no taxes to the feds, its a huge profit chain.
The old roach coach feed trucks can’t compete. They had to be licensed and pay taxes.
Taxes? they don’t pay no stinking taxes.....
Come to Texas where the money is free (for some) and the illegals no pay taxes....
