"As it turned out, Obama held the White House and in nine of the 10 Senate races where Rove's groups spent the most money, the Democratic candidate won."

This is the same Karl Rove who mocked those who were backing the lady candidate for Senator in Delaware (I'm sorry, I can't remember her name for the life of me, the one who was accused of being a witch) saying that we didn't know all the ins and outs of running a campaign to paraphrase Karl Rove. How can anybody give him or Dick Morris any credibility any more? It will be interesting to see if Hannity and O'Reilly still have them on their shows.

Rove is very much part of the problem. He may know how people inside the beltway think, but he does not understand how the rank-and-file of the GOP think.

I guess the silver lining here is that he’s entered semi-retirement as just another Fox News talking head pundit.

Sorry, I am not a big Rove fan. But...I think his numbers were correct. I still do.

No Rovian here, either.

Michael Barone was way wrong.

And his record is the best there is.

He’ll be back. He makes a ton of money on each election. Rove doesn’t have any bad election nights.

Or, it’s really tough to accept America’s new FOB ‘fresh off the boat’ demographic and union hacks where cheating is a strategy.

Republican strategist Karl Rove has had one “bad night” after another. Arnold Schwarzenneger. Lincoln Chaffee. Arlen Specter. Juan McCain. Mitt Romney. And let’s not forget the mid-term election of 2006, when he engineered the transition from an overwhelming victory in 2004 to an overwhelming defeat that lost congress and continued into 2008, by constantly counseling W to betray his base—until the base gave up on him and stayed home. Where they apparently remained once again.

He did a pretty good job earlier—maybe assisted by clinton’s corrupt tricks and algore’s stupidity—but he has been wrong about virtually everything he he has touched for at least six years. Yet the corrupt jerks who run the GOP just won’t learn from their mistakes.

In the future, anyone who hires Rove is one candidate I will not support. I am sick of this guy!

“Sorry, I am not a big Rove fan. But...I think his numbers were correct. I still do.”

I am a fan of his. I know most on here are not. He is part of the GOP-E. I know FOX worshipped him like he was the oracle on the Delphi. I also think his numbers were right. I think there was an ellaborate voter fraud scheme that cannot be anticipated by anyone that actually wanted to keep this an honest election.

Rove had a very bad night and lost a ton of money on this $130MM raised/spent - I heard he had a 1% Return On His Investment (ROI) - still without him then that’s a big money source for GOP so don’t go railing on Karl too much.

I don’t care where this news story was pulled from. All I know is I’m sick to death of experts and pollsters. I would never answer a pollster, on anything. My views are none of their damn business.

I’ll express what I want, when I want, and to whom I want. I can’t even watch Fox anymore, with Rove and Morris on all the time. I also can’t stand O’Reilly, Hannity, and Shep.

For now, I watch the Blaze. They need more programming but other than that they’re ok. The internet has more than enough information for me so in the long term, I need no TV or experts to tell me anything.

I agree. Not a big Rove fan either but the man was in shock. He very much knows that something was dreadfully wrong with this election. There is simply no way that the Romney internals could have been that far off.

They Republican insiders likely know this election was all out stolen.

We don't have free elections anymore and even if we do we have people that are not Americans choosing our leaders and running our lives. That is simply not acceptable. It's time to consider splitting up the country with Americans taking the middle of the country. The socialists can have the west and east coast.

I agree. Rove was using 2008 turnout numbers. 2008 turnout numbers would have given it Romney.
