I'll go first. Mine was Richard Nixon 1972. I felt cheap and used. I wish I'd waited for a better man.

Mine was George H.W. Bush in ‘88. If only I’d been old enough to vote for Reagan in ‘84.... *sigh*

OMG,,,I think he was my first as well....

Ronald Reagan-1984. I felt proud to vote for a great man.

I remember going to the store and getting pretzels that night with my Mom because she was so nervous.
My first vote was for Ronald.
My eldest son voted for the first time today and was given special attention when he was in line. All of the poll workers appreciated his efforts.

Mine was voting for Ronald Reagan after working for months on his 1976 campaign. He lost, of course. But it was well worth it!

2004. It was my first year in college, and I pushed for Bush like I was Karl Rove.
Two years later, I re-registered as an Independent because I was so disgusted with what had happened.

Mine was George McGovern, also in ‘72. At the time I bought into all that whirled peas stuff.

I was 18 years and four months old in November 72 and happily voted for Nixon. McGovern was a nutburger radical Lefty.

I voted for Pres for the first time in 1980. I cast my vote for Jimmy Carter (I was in college then and thought I was a Democrat).
Naturally, I was disappointed my guy lost. However, I watched Ronald Reagan's victory speech with an open mind. He convinced me that I should give him a chance. He did not disappoint me. Four years later, I was a solid Republican and proudly cast my second vote for president for Reagan.

I was left feeling so empty by my first that for my second I actually voted for BJ Clinton. One of many youthful indiscretions I regret.

My first time was in ‘76...Gerald Ford. Today was my youngest son’s first time voting in a Presidential Election!!

Saint Ronald as we call him at our house.
There may never be another like him.
