My granddaughter and friends have been having a running commentary (to keep it mildly spoken) on Facebook and Twitter about the candidates.

Most of those who join in would be first time voters ... one of her close friends was OBAMANUTS, suddenly changed to Ron Paul (quite a difference between them) and my granddaughter kept correcting their misconceptions and also kept telling them they had to pay attention, that they ignored the real world.

The last reports almost all have decided that they are not going to vote, except for her ... that exemplifies that young crowd, vaunted as being so enthused.

These people are all in the 18 to 24 year range.

I hear ya...i have a few liberal friends and they’re mindless drones that are void of all common sense. The mission of the Marine Corps rifle squad is to locate, close with, and destroy the enemy or his will to fight. Politically speaking of course, that’s what needs to happen to democrats.
