I’ve noticed a slight forum lag lately but no more than a few seconds to log on or load a page and this is with a marginal speed Verizon DSL modem.
I use Firefox, latest version, but am posting this on WiFi with an iPad and still really no issues.
Wish I could help more.

It has been terrible since the debates and seems to be getting worse as time goes on. I’m not a technical person, so I have no idea what is going wrong. Could we be under attack by the Left?

Firefox stutters along but it delivers - IE 9 acts very strange. The wheel on the browser goes round & round, I hit stop, refresh the page and then *bang* it loads instantly.

I agree, CWW... FR has been crashing and burning for me since at least 9:30pm ET tonight when I signed on. 11pm ET now, and it's even worse.
FR has been slow and/or crashing for months now. I'm ready to give up... Grrr!
This is absolutely ridiculous.

Just do what we all do:
Reload lots, push each button 15 times rapidly.

I’m in No. California and it is inconsistent here. I can usually access FR in the morning, but afternoon is iffy, and the last few days, it’s very hard to get any response at all at night, until maybe 11 or so Pacific time. (I’m surprised I can get on now!) My computer just tells me “website not available” or whatever its tech jargon is.
Is this some sort of denial of service attack, or a natural consequence of having so many people trying to get on the same site at the same time? I’m not angry, I’m just glad FR exists! But I *am* disappointed because I really doubt I’ll be able to get on at all on Tuesday afternoon or evening, and I expect to be a basket case. It would be really, really nice to have the company of my fellow FReepers then!!!!!

I know during the debates, FR choaks a lot. If I was not so financially strapped and looking for work (I do have an interview this week) I would have donated. Still, I hope FR remains up during election night.
