All white people are going to hell, longtime African-American civil rights advocate Rev. Joseph Lowery told an audience at a get-out-the-vote event held Oct. 27 in Georgia.
Lowery, who gave the benediction at the January 2009 inauguration of President Barack Obama, told the audience of up to 300 African-Americans that when he was a young militant, he used to say all white folks were going to hell. Then he mellowed and just said most of them were. Now, he said, he is back to where he was, according to an Oct. 31 report in the Monroe County Reporter newspaper.
I dont know what kind of a n wouldnt vote with a black man running, Lowery also told the audience in the St. James Baptist Church in Forsyth, Ga., according to the Reporter.
He was saying [that] based on all of the hatred thats going on towards President Barack Obama, Helen Butler, the executive director of Lowerys Georgia-based Coalition for the Peoples Agenda, told The Daily Caller.
He just fell that he should feel the way he used to feel, Butler, who attended the rally, explained.
Of course he doesnt believe that all whites should go to hell, she added.
Thats not him hes a very caring person.

Isn’t the bozo that preached against Bush with Bush sitting in front of him, at a memorial service for some black?
Then you’re coming with us.
Forsyth is the city Oprah ‘marched’ on a decade or so ago.
The same kind of n that claims to be from Africa even though he's never been there, nor never will.
C u there dude
C u there dude
Yeah, we really didn't hear him say that. He meant something else other than what he said. Mmm hmm.
Including Jesus Christ?
Odd POV for a Christian reverend.

It’s a little-known fact that I was born a poor black child.
Well Barry HAlf-White just sent 4 white people to a meet and greet with Jesus..
Could be the Reverend will have a lot of ‘splainin to do..
But since we're not, they're going to make it feel that way.
If I typed here what I really want to say, I’d be banned from FR.
N***ers, whities, honkies, jews, don't worry...
if there's a hell down below, we're all going to go.
I believe the good reverend is going to be shocked to learn that Christ’s command that we forgive others extends to the black race forgiving the white race for slavery and every other sin the black man believes the whites have commited against them. No exceptions and no excuses.
This truth is the key to the healing of the black community.
Any preacher who teaches otherwise is going to find himself wishing for a millstone around his neck.
He’s the kind of guy that probably thinks Jesus was a black man, based on that prophetic vision of Jesus as the Lamb of God in Revelation.
“Hair like lamb’s wool? Jesus had a fro!”... you know the type.
N***ers, whities, honkies, jews, don't worry...
if there's a hell down below, we're all going to go.
I prefer the old Curtis Mayfield:
Don't Drive Me Away--The Impressions (1958)
This is sad.
I thought I was going to be really angry about this, but all I feel is a big sadness that a “man of the cloth” such as Mr. Lowery would feel this way and speak such poison.
I pray that he may have a change of heart. ‘Pod.
Well, at least I can draw comfort from knowing that Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Bill Clinton are going to Hell.
