Piers Corbyn is the world's most accurate, long range forecaster of weather. No reason for any worry at all about Hurricane Sandy. Get out the vote!!!

It is always awesome when the MSM goes ape-crap about something and is wrong.

Maybe I’ve misunderstood, but I think it’s the effects of the hurricane, whether it’s offshore or not that people are worried about. The wet heavy snow that downs trees and power lines etc.

I could be wrong as I’ve never lived through one, but that’s what I’m understanding.

The media will tell us it will hit square into the eastern seaboard just to keep the ratings higher.

We haven't seen a turn to the left yet.

Plus the winds are reported at 75 hour after hour.

What source of heat energy is going to pump this storm up?

I predict (yellow arrows) it will not turn left as soon as they think and it will hit either Conn, Mass, NH or Maine. The left arrow I meant to be abit more south pointing at Conn.

But it wouldn't surprise me if it did by-pass the US all together.

His projected path is already wrong. He saw it continuing as a tropical cyclone, but it’s been reborn as a Nor’easter. It retains its cyclonic flow but it is spread out over 700 miles. It’s now getting power from temp variance. The warm Gulf Stream and that Canadian cold front. Like a Nor easter it travels slowly and lingers. I wish this guy had been right, but he was dangerously wrong. This is no fake storm!

Here’s an interesting piece of bureaucratic BS from the NHC:

http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/news/20121027_pa_sandyTransition.pdf

It was reported sometime on Sunday that the NHC was keeping Sandy at hurricane strength because so they could continue to issue warnings and information on it, rather than passing it off to the NWS (another branch of NOAA). This is the source of that report.

No, the reason why Hurricane Sandy won’t land in the US is that Obama threatened to shoot it down if it came in illegally.

Nah. Let’s try again. Obama promised America that he would pursue the truth as to who was behind the hurricane attack on the US and that he would bring them to justice, along with that film maker.

Now that’s more like it.

Well the 2am report has it leaving its NE path and turning North, so its doing everything they said it would at this point.

This is the worst trash I have ever seen posted. This is a dangerous storm. Get you head out of you butt. Obviously you are not on the East Coast. Ocean City is ALREADY seeing flooding and it has not even hit yet. I recommend you pull this trash.

The weather’s nice here in Arizona.

When we lived in Virginia Beach, we prepped for storms and LEFT town. No need to stick around and whine about it. No need to put our children in danger. And since school was cancelled, it was a great time for a visit to grandparents. AND we could watch TWC idiots stand between high rise hotels on the beach so they got the greatest wind effect possible for the cameras.

I hope the people along the East Coast have heeded the warnings and have left areas vulnerable to flooding. And I pray that these storms fizzle out and do less damage than forecast.

I can just see it now . . . By Wednesday, the news will break to “where’s my free $h%t”. D.C., N.Y., Philly, etc will get more free stuff after being declared a disaster area by the Administration. New Orleans(Katrina) won’t have nothing on this one. Not to mention the inner-city crime that goes with it. Of course, the “Savior” in the WH will see to their needs. May as well add another trillion to the national debt. You’ll see.

I think we may have been hyped. I went to weather.com and pulled up the five day forecast for DC. NY, Boston, Binghamton,NY and York,Pa.

In none of the forecasts was there any suggestion of flooding or rains over 1 inch, or of winds over 40 miles per hour. One would think if the world were coming to an end due to weather, it would show up somewhere in the local forecast.
