I can't be the only one to see this?
Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.
From those of us living directly in the path of the storm: Go **** yourself.
And neither God nor man will stop Mother Nature from her work. There is no judgement on the matter.
Yes, if all the Liberals are pulled out to the ocean's depths by the receding tides...................
Don’t forget the tsunami threatening Hawaii and today’s earthquake in the LA area (mirroring the earthquake in BC that started the tsunami.)
God has given us the sun and moon and stars and trees and spring rain. He created all of this. We get the parts we like and the parts we don’t. It’s an all or nothing deal.
Are you nuts? What, are you expecting the UN building to get blown away? Go read a conspiracy book or watch a documentary on Bigfoot...those of us sitting in the path of this hurricane are not interested in karma...i highly doubt God has the UN on his mind....
You’re nuts.
Seriously.
"From those of us living directly in the path of the storm: Go **** yourself."
silly! everybody knows its revenge for al gore! valerie jarrett has the machine karl rove used to steer katrina to NOLA, and is using it to punish the liberal east coast....uh...waitaminnit..
God often has intervened in Nature’s work, i.e. parting the sea, calming the storm while on the boat, winds that brought the quail as meat for the Israelites, hail and brimstone on Soddom...etc.. The mastery of God over nature is axiomatic for Christians and Jews. There is no doubt Sandy is God’s permitted will.
Bravo. From a sermon from my pastor in the wake of a comment on the Xenia 1974 tornado (”Look what God did to Xenia”):
“God created nature but He does not control it. Nature follows it’s own rules.”
God in His sovreign will allows things to happen. He allows what He does and who do we as mere mortals try to rationalize what He does and the purposes. Could Sandy be a wake up call of sorts from above? Its very possible.
If God judges America, He’ll use more than 75 mph winds...
“He causes it to rain on the just and on the unjust” Mathew 5:45
(I’m no Bible scholar and I know this much)
it’s much more metaphysical than that, and with 11 known dimensions, who knows what else could be up in the reality of reality.
It seems sometimes that those that believe the most in the Creator are the ones that make him out to be really stupid.
He runs a CAT1 storm into the U.S. to teach us a lesson? In what, making sure the storm drains are clear in front of your house?
I think he has better things to do.
Ohhhhh, right, because it never “rains” on the so-called just.
