Oh my dear Perdogg, I was overwhelmed to see that you had posted this thread and I thank you and our lovely Meg for alerting me. I did not expect this.

For those who do not know, my oldest daughter has been ill for sometime and spent the past two months in a Houston hospital on dialysis. Everything went downhill from then on and other organs began to fail and she passed away yesterday. I arrived home in my city last evening and am in a state of shock and just unable to reply right now to all the kindness I see in posts here.

I promise all of you that I will thank each of you for posting when I feel up to it. All of you have filled my heart with comfort and I thank you.

Dear Potlatch, I am so sorry for this painful loss of your daughter.

This familiar Scripture comes to mind in such situations and brings comfort.
