No. Let’s say you took the first pill at 1:00pm. The second would be 30 minutes later at 1:30. The third pill would be 30 minutes later at 2:00pm.
The three pills lasted 60 minutes, from 1:00pm to 2:00pm.

The question is how long the pills will last, not how long their effectiveness will last. Fuzzy wording will be the bane of our society. I know 4 languages, so I'm a little bit keener on precise wording. Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.

Who said each pill lasts 30 minutes? You are assuming the effect of the pills lasts for 30 minutes but nowhere was that stated. The Doctor just said to take one every 30 minutes.
Once you take a pill it is gone. The three pills last 60 minutes.
