One of those videos that made me feel homesick for my home town. I absolutely would have gone to see it. Note there is one part from someone's window. How cool that had to be!

This isn’t anything to celebrate. Obozo has pretty much shut down the space program.

Friggin liberals got the space shuttle in LA LA Land. And the hard working NASA people of Houston get bupkis. Nothing like politicizing every-friggin-thing, eh Kenya boy???

I agree. The shot from inside the apartment was the best.

Wonderful clip, ( as is the other one, showigng them removing Endeavour from the 747.
One question, hopefully someone knows the answer:
Wouldn't it have been much, much easier, and probably much cheaper... to remove outer segments of the wings, then trasport? Everytime an airliner is moved, the wings come off..Reinstalling them poses no great problem..doesn't have to be a perfect job..it's not gonna fly again.

Considering that, thanks to the sh*t-stain currently squatting in the Oval Office, we have no launch vehicle, and have to hitch a ride to the ISS with the Russians or Europeons, I found the melancholy music entirely, and sadly, appropriate.

By all rights, that shuttle should have gone to the Johnson Space Center in Houston. The L.A. Museum of Science and Technology already has a shuttle.
A purely political move on Obama’s part, and a prime reason that Houston’s largest daily newspaper just endorsed Romney.
