October Surprise this weekend?

Not sure how to characterize this, or where it belongs, but there's considerable scuttlebutt this morning over a new (and maybe scurrilous) website predicting a major October Surprise this weekend, Sunday evening, just before the next debate on Monday.
This deserves FReeper attention and discussion.
http://legalinsurrection.com/2012/10/okay-sure-ill-fall-for-it-and-link-to-an-october-surprise-website/
and
http://www.buzzfeed.com/wiowsa/one-of-your-presidential-candidates-isnt-being-ho-4afz
for starters. An Insider on a website that cannot be mentioned also hinted at something big coming this weekend.

I had read something about Obama announcing that he is cutting a deal with Iran to back down on their nuclear weapons program. And that they would “promise” to stop.
Yeah, that’s all it takes to solve the world’s terrorist problems. Obama saves the world.

I’m pretty sure that the opportunity for the October Surprise has passed. I think that the October Surprise was that Chris Stevens and the other three men were supposed to be captured and held hostage and then Obama would calm the whole Middle East by capitulating to the demands, as laid out by Mohammed Al Zawahiri, the same demands that were issued by Osama Bin Laden before the first 9/11 attack.
That’s what the protesters in in Egypt were referring to when they chanted, we are al Osamas, Obama. Part of the demands is the release of all Islamic prisoners held by the US, including the Blind Sheik and those who are supposed to be put on trial at Gitmo this week. Obama was going to release them. Bet on it.

BREAKING - Graveyard shift workers at Libyan asprin & baby food factories stage wildcat walkout.
The only surprise that helps Obama now is something that puts a REAL scandal on Romney...not a trumped up one.
I don’t think an military action or big event helps...it might even hurt.

Why? He and his supporters think he won.

The suggestion is not funny. Here is a demagogue, who was taught his trade by hard core Marxists. Whose campaign techniques remind one of Hitler's in creating the Third Reich. Neither class of mentors had the slightest doubt but that their ends justified any means.
So much for Obama's moral background. The only thing which would deter him from getting us into a wartime situation, is simply a question of nerves--could he pull it off in a convincing fashion? We are in a very strange position of having to pray for "Presidential" cowardice, until the man leaves office in January.

It’s too late for Obama to turn ANYTHING around and Romney doesn’t need to.
So, I’ll be on my boat fishing for King salmon and Coho (silvers).

The fuzzy document on the above website looks like a tax return form. Ruh-Roh.

I thought the same thing. I wonder if this is related to the criminal in TN who said he had Romney’s tax records and would release them?

well, we already know that Paul Ryan washed some clean dishes in homeless shelter, so I am not sure much more can shock me
Maybe the Romneys smoked cigarettes behind the barn

This looks like anti-Romney. The same website was anti-Bush in 2004, and the IP address seems to resolve to a web design company out of Chicago(!).

He’s either bombing Syria, condemning Christianity and Judaism, or claiming that they have arrested Stevens killers.
He won’t have gotten Zawahri, controlled the muslim brother, or brought peace in our time. The man is dangerous

The point that would be lost on the dims and lsm is that even though it might be a tax return, Romney hasn't been accused by the IRS of anything.
Dims expect this to be a gotcha. What are they going to find? That Romney made $20 million and paid $3 million in taxes?
Chrissy Matthews: See we knew it all along.
Romney is...RICH (gasp)
AND...that he used tax deductions to lower his tax bill (wailing and gnashing of teeth)

There is no good timing for Obama to pull an ‘foreign’ October Surprise right now.
- Before the next debate, it will be viewed cynically by both left and right sides, to shore up Obama’s cred.
- After the next debate (before election), it will be viewed as compensation for his lackluster performance.
Therefore, any October Surprise would have to be for some domestic consumption. I thought it was the ObamakillsOsama American Hero action moive?

Obama and Company don’t have the brains or cojones to pull off an effective October surprise. His marxist mentors are most disappointed with him.

I think he’s contemplating bombing Libya to kill the now-admitted terrorists who killed our Ambassador. But it’s not clear that that would help him at this point. It would really PO his base, without probably bringing anyone else on board.
Same with an attack on Syria. The press would love that, having portrayed the terrorist revolutionaries as the good guys, but I doubt whether anyone else would.
I agree, that probably Obama thought that his Ambassador would be taken hostage, and could then be traded in a big deal for the Blind Sheikh. But that sure went off the rails, just like Gun Runner did, with some inconvenient murders which he then ignored or tried to cover up.

"Nothing is so mistaken as the supposition, that a person is to extricate himself from a difficulty, by intrigue, by chicanery, by dissimulation, by trimming, by an untruth, by an injustice. This increases the difficulties ten fold; and those who pursue these methods, get themselves so involved at length, that they can turn no way but their infamy becomes more exposed. It is of great importance to set a resolution, not to be shaken, never to tell an untruth. There is no vice so mean, so pitiful, so contemptible; and he who permits himself to tell a lie once, finds it much easier to do it a second and third time, till at length it becomes habitual; he tells lies without attending to it, and truths without the worlds believing him. This falsehood of the tongue leads to that of the heart, and in time depraves all its good dispositions." - See "Letter to Peter Carr, August 19, 1785," in Thomas Jefferson: Writings (New York: The Library of America, 1984), pp. 814-815.". . . he tells lies without attending to it, and truths without the world's believing him." - Jefferson
When a man stands before the world and makes claims which are as easily disproven as those made by the President last night, then, truly, "his infamy becomes more exposed."
The 5-minute Rose Garden statement was on FOX Radio this morning, and it reveals that both Crowley and the President might take Jefferson's warning to heart: "Nothing is so mistaken as the supposition, that a person is to extricate himself from a difficulty, by intrigue, by chicanery, by dissimulation, by trimming, by an untruth, by an injustice."
American voters saw the "chicanery," the "dissimulation," the "trimming," the "untruth," and the "injustice" attempted by avoiding the real question from the audience, and on November 6, both may see that the President did not "extricate" himself from the "difficulty" of his attempted cover-up of a terrorist attack on his watch.

Yes, tax return and who knows if it’s altered or not. Interesting comments on Legal Insurrection recalling that Romney’s accountant was hacked into. Another comment that it might be a partnership return showing no taxes paid but these are paid as an individual - not on the partnership return.
If this is the case Romney will be ready for this. While the hacking is illegal I just don’t see that Romney did anything illegal with his taxes.
