Zombie Survival Kit features real tactical ax and a spork
Be prepared for the dead to rise again with a zombie kit containing a tomahawk, snacks, zombie crime scene tape, and a spork.
You have options when it comes to zombie-slaying weapons. Loud guns may attract unwanted zombie attention. Baseballs bats can require several swats to work. Chainsaws need gas. A tactical ax, however, is portable and effective.
ThinkGeek's Zombie Survival Kit features a stainless-steel SOG Tactical Tomahawk, suitable for close combat or hurling from a distance at the undead. Zombie crime scene tape helps you alert other survivors to danger zones.
Nosh on some Zombie Jerky and chase it with a Zombie Blast Energy Shot. Use your compact CRKT Eat'N Tool spork. Most importantly, the kit comes with a collapsible shot glass. This gives you the option to just drink away your zombie apocalypse sorrows.
Unlike the $24,000 zombie survival kit we dug up earlier in the year, the $79.99 ThinkGeek version is a better choice for budget-conscious zombie hunters. Plus, this kit has dissolving hand soap sheets for cleanup after you've mowed down a zombie mob with your tomahawk.
Ping to Kartographer!
Heh. I have that exact tomahawk, it’s by SOG, and it is so sharp that one could shave with it if one was so inclined.
Looks like a Columbia River product...spoon, fork, screwdriver, can opener, wrench...kinda handy.
I recently bought a hatchet for only $10. It was on clearance. It is a bit odd looking as the handle has straps which go over both sides of the hatchet’s head.
It doesn’t look like it would be real durable but since it is a Fiskars I know it will be.
BTW, I think an army surplus, Ontario machete is much more useful than a hatchet but there are times when a hatchet is the right tool for the job.
You should check out a crovel..not only a weapon, but also a tool...the hottest thing in the prepper world.
What is that, a high velocity crow bar?
My son says, “Not good enough. It needs explosives.”
Heh. Good one. Nosler has its new “Varmageddon” ammo, too. Pretty funny. Look at the sign that the prairie dog is holding.

The fancy varmint bullets are a little expensive for my use, but there are some good bulk deals on match ammo once in a while.
Oops—match bullets for handloading ammo, that is. Manufacturer’s finished cartridge prices are more horrifying to me than zombies. ;-)
Is a crovel like the Russian army entrenching tool? The Russkies sharpen all three edges of their short handled shovel & hurl it like a battleaxe.
Ever hear of the “skatchet”? Used to be popular among Boy Scouts.
No, it is like a field shovel that has been sharpened to the point that you can cut flesh in half. also, it is packed with survival items..I would recommend that you google it to get more info,
