"Entire cities in the World of Warcraft have been destroyed with no one spared, not even the NPCs. About 13:00 GMT, forums on WOW started getting the first comments from users regarding players and NPCs dying on the Ragnaros-EU realm in Orgrimmar. Users of the online game started reporting that Draenor had a similar sight to offer. Some of the other realms where this was reported include Tarren Mill, and Twisting Nether."
Also at Joystiq, and (with more screenshots) at WCCF Tech, which reports that "it appears the damage is most severe in World of Warcraft European servers."
This could be the end of the world...of Warcraft.
heh heh...
Hilarious. We should have a do-over of the jobless rate, I bet there are several hundred thousand more “looking for work” now.
hahhahaha....rolling in the floor..hahahhaha!!!
Thunder Bluff and Crossroads(Chuck Norris’s hometown) are still good.
Is Chuck Norris in World of Warcraft?
I swear that graphic looks like a picture of a close friend of mine. He was a well-know admin in World of Warcraft, until he died of a heart attack over a year ago. I never understood the game, despite him trying to show me. That world was his life. After his retirement he told me he just wore his shorts sitting at his computer and would eat and sleep there, playing for days and days. A neighbor called the police when he didn’t come out for days and they found him dead at his computer. The game is addictive and dangerous!

Part of me thinks this is funny.
Part of me wonders if someone is trying to tell us something.
Nothing could ever EVER destroy Barrens chat.
only when it’s breaking
I’m sorry to hear about your friend. The pic is a snapshot from a South Park episode about World of Warcraft...funny episode.
Virtual news to go with a virtual administration
[I used to play SimCity and I was a generous but capricious “god”]
All of me thinks this is funny.
The game has had up to 11 million subscribers at one point. Given that we haven’t had a sudden influx of millions of dead geeks I’d say the issue has less to do with the game and more to do with an addictive personality combined with poor health.
Rule #1. Never ever talk about Barrens chat.
Rule #2. NEVER EVER TALK ABOUT BARRENS CHAT!
