George Dalmon, a former rugby player, and his friend Andy Miles were banned from all-you-can-eat restaurant, Gobi, In Brighton, after the manager branded them "a couple of pigs".
The men would each eat five bowls of stir-fry during their regular meals at the Mongolian barbecue, which invites guests to create their own dishes from the buffet.

You big boy you been here four hour. No pay just go!
Only takes a few like them to ruin it for everyone.
My ex-husband, a democrat, used to brag and think it funny that his friend and he would go to an all-you-can-eat buffet and stay for hours, absolutely stuffing themselves. Religion and politics- two really important things to discuss before marriage.
No sleep between eating! You sleep, you pay twice!
Sirry Mongorians.
People like these are the reason Ryan’s Steak House is going out of business.
5 bowls of stir fry would have been a snack for me back in the day.
I’m not big but I can eat.
You can tell this is in the UK.
If this had been America the owners would have realized these two are probably their best customers.
But in the UK they have no idea how to run a business and run off the two people who were paying often.
I would have just upped the prices a bit or changed the menu. Take advantage of the fact that these guys obviously like the food.
My ex-boss got banned from a local Chinese all-ya-can-eatery when he got caught stuffing a bunch of egg-rolls in his pockets to take home to the wife and kids.
No, really.
This happened to my sons football team. The entire O-line went one night, only stayed about an hour but when they were done, the manager asked them never come back.
I abhor OCB.
I know they were trying to get their money's worth, but damn, I've got better things to do with my time than hang out doing jack squat for 5 hours.
And these folks rarely if ever left a tip, even though they hogged the table all day. Not letting other (tipping) customers sit there.
Golden Corral used to be OK. I don’t know if it has changed. Haven’t been there in a long time. Buffets are bad for if you are trying to exercise some portion control.

How are they the restaurants best customers? They are eating more than the cost of the buffet, which is netting the business a net loss. Plus, they were not ordering any drinks, which typically generate a high margin to offset the low margins generated by buffets.
A business has the right to choose who they wish to have as customers - I encounter potential customers nearly everyday who I politely inform that I cannot be of assistance to them and refrain from offering any more details.
The comments from locals that accompany the story do indicate that the restaurant has changed the wording on its menu to include verbiage that somewhat limits the buffet, which is prudent. It is absurd that some people feel the need to go in and eat a week's worth of food at a restaurant. Of course, the easy solution is to just remove the choice of buffets for everyone to prevent the minority slobs from tanking your business.
you’re supposed to tip at sizzler?
