I am surprised this thread is still going. Was I the only one told off and hit with a rule book for posting?

LOL, like retirement will ever happen for me!
I’ll die before I save enough to stop working.
That’s OK though. I don’t know that I would like retirement. I don’t mind my work, and in some respect I need the pressure. If I was ‘retired’ nothing would get done. ;-)
You girls want to party, come on up! You need a passport.

No, but I was told many years ago that my Son is.
I believe it.
Something tells me you may be one.

Almost always, yes. :-)
Our Son never slept longer than 5 hours at a time for his first 2 years. Is Kathleen like that?

How fun is buying something for someone in a foreign country who has no real clue about what America can offer? (Besides the bastard child of some sub-Saharan Arab who was born in Kenya?)
But I digress!
Giving to those with less than what we have is an awesome expreience. Thanks, TC, for having the opportunity to give so generously!

“Why are we still here?”
So that Null and Void could get 4,000.
Shall we try for 5K?

Which proves nothing either way about whether life repeats in any manner. Repeats?
Exists. This may be one of many types of schools we choose to attend. Maybe the whole measurable universe is really just a boot camp for souls.
What do you know about near death experiences?
I'm curious. Why do you suggest I read more books? Which books would you recommend?

Not by a long shot. It’s part of the initiation ritual.

We can always go for the gold ring! The fact that a 5K is close should encourage us all.
Hiya, Sis! *hug*

Friday, December 21, 2012 is the end of the Aztec Calendar, not the end of the world. It could be TEOWTAWKI, and that could be a good thing. ;-)
Imagine if, somehow, on that date, we could begin using the rest of our brains...
TC, please wish Pat a Happy 11th Birthday for me 3 weeks from today.

No, I mean “from Africa,” but living here in Charlotte. The previous year, iirc, I bought a coffee maker for a woman from Ukraine.
It is fun buying people things, or helping them to buy what they want. Over on the NC board, Anoreth is telling me that Kathleen should get her a sword for Christmas!

No worries, sis. We will continue to live with the brains we have until such time as we are given something different, and I think that will be WELL after December 21!
TRUST ME! I’m a mother! ;o]

Frank didn’t sleep more than 2 hours at a time until past 2, but Kathleen is a great sleeper. She was in bed around 8:30 last night, and I got her up around 7:00 a.m. She was awake by then, kicking around with a couple of stuffed animals chewing on her blanket, but not crying.

I’m not sure, but it seems to me I was online more when Frank was a baby, and yet I don’t remember you being this tired.
Are you pregnant again, or ill?

No, I’m not pregnant (certainly!) or ill. Just three years older, and with more teenagers at home, and they’re all terribly busy so we hardly ever get to take a nap. I get up around 5:30 and work all day.
