Don’t know, he was looking downward and had a vague impression of some huge fuzzy thing RIGHT THERE in front of him before he got clobbered.
Ah. That would be the Grinch Effect, where it comes at you out of the darkness, stealthily. Quietly. Until the toy sack hits you upside the head.
Yah. Like that.
Shoof shoof shoof clunk?
When I was a preschooler, my nightmares included ink-stained hands reaching out from under the stair carpets—it was such a relief to grow up lol!
Tentacles under the bed, and giant clawed hands in the closets.
Shoof shoof shoof shoof shoof CLUNK! THUD!
Heading out, I hope not to hear that noise.
It is not pleasant. Rather, Anti-Clause, if you will....
Anti-Claus...yoiks!
Whoa! The Undead Thread has a link to Toontown?
Probably one of those special Doors in the lower levels of the Flying Castle. I knew we should have gotten them mapped before this.
Be still, Bob...one cannot always anticipate the unanticipated. Enjoy what comes as it comes! ;o]
Congratulations on the sock-finding! I don’t have any Advent socks, but I have a pair of silly striped ones that I wear with everything to embarass Tom and Elen.
I had just got my first Lonely Mountain drawn when Kathleen woke up, and then I had to feed her, make supper, serve supper, and clean up supper. Now I’m going to give Kathleen a bath, and then get back to maps!
Check yer freepmail!
Thanks! I’ll so that!
NicknamedSue and I like Aldi's. We stock up on their canned vegetables by the case. Green beans, peas, and sweet corn. They also have some very flavorful baked beans (with brown sugar, among other things).
It's worth looking around when you go. They sometimes have good bargains on other things too. If it's close enough, their milk price is good.
Does this mean I can expect coal again in my stocking for Christmas this year like every past year? Would like to put in a request for some candy, but guess use of the Doors was not allowed. Sorry about finding a set of Doors, all. Doors was available so went out there as a ... Rider on the Storm. The storm was so bad ... How bad was it? Well, the storm was so bad that when me came back in ... the Doors did not work properly no more.
Sleep Well everyone. I piled me coal on the Doors. Kept every piece of coal from every Christmas. Don’t worry, Those Doors ain’t goin’ nowhere.
No, I don't think so, Bob.
It's bigger than that. More like it is happening outside by boney head.
"Dreams are what you live for, and life is what happens."
LOL, if that was the answer, people would just want to sleep all the time, perchance to dream.
Through out human history, people have recounted experiences that defy definition at this time.
As you said, TC, we seem to use not much more than 15% of our brains.
We have to wonder what the rest is for.
Maybe we will find out on Friday, December 21st.
Have a good evening everyone.
Gosh, missed that ... 15% is what we use of our brain? Me begs to disagree with myself and I. 15% sounds a little on the high side, and ain’t talking whiskey tango foxtrot. Maybe Delta ... and Dawn was using maybe 5%, for the flower she had on without whiskey, me guesses. Gosh, and that made sense before the flower faded, at least to Delta after a shot of whiskey. Nite everyone. Done done it now, said goodnight and sleep well twice. Was 30% of the brain used?
I’ll have to compare the milk price with Walmart’s. I didn’t think to do that today.
Sis. Friday, December 21, 2012 is the end of the Aztec Calendar, not the end of the world. Every year, on December 31, we “run out of time.” But then, we wake up the next morning and find we have begun a new calendar.
The 85% of our brains that we don’t use is for ... lots of things that happened before our birth and will happen after our deaths. We have so much to learn that our earthly lifetimes are not long enough to take it all in.
Think about it. We were given that extra brain space for a reason.
