Yes they were dummies because they could not see their savior right in front of them. And you guys cannot see the very power of what Jesus did...no, you deny it mightily!
And Roy teaches a simple Be still exercise which is the actual tenant of “Be still and know that I am God” in the bible. What do you think it means by still? Obviously it is the mind where the devil tries to connect with us ever since Adam. That is his portal...but not if we detach and see the thoughts for what they are. God operates in a simple and wordless way just as when we were children, we did not have to think about things, we just acted with happiness. Jesus said we have to return as little children or we will in no ways enter the kingdom. His ways are much simpler than what you believe and has changed my life from deep suicidal depression, to a happy and prosperous man that is fearless. This is all from God...silent prayer daily and I am very very grateful for it. I don’t need to convince you nor anyone of the truth of it all, it is alive in my life. If you disagree with it and with Roy’s teachings, that is ok in my book. Not right, but your right to be wrong!

I agree that the Pharisees in Jesus' time rejected him as the Messiah, but it sure sound like, by what you are saying, that Roy Masters ALSO rejects who Jesus is. I fully agree that we must meditate upon the word of God and make Him the source of strength and victory in our lives. We also have the indwelling Holy Spirit by whom we are sealed until the day of redemption and He is our teacher. I see the power of Christ in EVERY area of my life and do NOT deny it - mightily or otherwise. What I cannot understand - and which YOU started here in this very thread - is why Masters teaches a denial of the Deity of Jesus Christ. What part does THAT play in making his methods work or not?

I'm happy you have found peace, but if that peace comes at the cost of your eternal life, what value does it really have? Jesus clearly said that we will DIE IN OUR SINS if we do not believe He is who He claims to be - and that IS God in the flesh. What is it about this tenet that Masters has convinced you it is not true? Why does denial of this truth determine the success or failure of his methods. Because, to be honest with you, I am highly suspicious of it. Jesus said, "What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul?"
