Article II Super PAC wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) for the proper priority you place on the faithful observation of this national security provision of the Constitution by citing it in the first of your 2012 Nonpartisan Selection Criteria.
It has come to our attention that CPD may not recognize or apply any specific definition for "natural born Citizen" in the process of qualifying candidates' satisfaction of Presidential eligibility. If this is in error, we would appreciate any information on how you qualify Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates' eligibility as natural born Citizens.
In summary, we ask that the CPD clarify its official position on this national security issue and explain how the CPD qualifies Presidential candidates' constitutional eligibility as natural born Citizens of the United States.
We look forward to the opportunity to share your response with our membership and associated organizations

They say they requires each POTUS and V-POTUS candidate to be Constitutionally eligible as Natural Born Citizen.
Please contact them and ask them to explain their definition of natural bonr citizen and their sources.
CDP's email is: comments@debates.org
This is important...
But this election both candidtes for POTUS had fathers who were born in another country...
George Romnwy in Mexico...
Barak Obama Sr in Kenya...
It will be interesting to see how this plays out...
I say everyone that touches this is afraid of race riots. They KNOW he is not eligible even IF he was birthed in the Lincoln Bedroom of the White House.
If you mean everyone who is AFRAID TO TOUCH IT, then I agree.
I'm concerned about the small number of replies to this post. I hope it does not mean that FR eligibility advocates are ignoring this opportunity.
The CPD is (supposedly) a non-partisan, non-profit organization obligated by its own structure to make an effort to ensure that POTUS and V-POTUS candidates are natural born citizens.
This presents an opportunity for NBC advocates to apply pressure on this purported sentry of stewardship of the public trust in matters of the electorate. The are being placed on notice by voters who are watching THEM and comparing THEM to the standards they established for themselves.
PLEASE support this effort by Article II and send an email to the CPD, asking them to identify how CPD qualifies candidates as natural born citizens and how they arrived at their definition of "Natural Born Citizen."
You might even ask CPD to pose the question to the candidates during the debates:
"Are you a natural born citizen of the United States of America, as required by the Constitution? If so, what are your qualifications?"
Great question but the debate picked CPD moderators are liberal talking heads. It would be a minor miracle to get those clowns to ask the question especially with Obama occupying the oval office.
Are they also the same folks who choose the moderators for these 4 debates (3 Pres 1 VP)?
I’ll send an email. Hopefully we win in November and then people will settle this even though the bum was tossed out.
You're not saying we should not try, right? I can't imagine you taking that kind of position, Red Steel. I've seen too many ideas coming from you which are stronger than that.
NOTE TO ALL ELIGIBILITY ADVOCATES:
We must do more than just shake our fists at the sky.
Posting here, while remaining silent and invisible (i.e., passive) toward forces who are shredding our Constitution, crosses a line from apathy to enabling.
If all you do is whine, you deserve what you get. Trouble is, those to make an effort to oppose this in justice do not deserve it.
ping!!!
I thought it was well determined that since Mitt’s father, George, was born to TWO US citizens while they were in Mexico that George’s birth status fulfilled the requirements for Mitt to be a full natural born citizen.
Doesn’t seem to be a point worth mentioning any more, unless I am missing something here....
It’s not going to “play out” they are just gonna have the debate.
Mitt was born in Michigan, he is a US citizen. As for HUSSEIN, it has yet to be proven he was born in Hawaii.
This really scares the $^!+ out of me. This is a SCOTUS Justice, supposedly our sentinel of conservatism on the bench, and even he has no clue about the proper definition of a basic, national security provision of our Constitution.
If you are waiting for an alarm, this is it folks. All hands on deck! Pick something you can do to bring this issue to resolution AND DO IT!
Thanks for the ping!
Action required, Americans.
FULL STEAM AHEAD!
I figured you come back with this. I didn't even have my first coffee yet and I've got to go now. :-) Yes, of course, keep on trying as this is a process to get them to understand the law. I believe we will prevail in the end.
By your way of thinking, anchor babies being popped out by Mexican citizen parents are still Mexican citizens. Great! That means they aren't eligible to all those US government freebies! Woohoo, you've solved our problems! Oh, uh, hmm, wait it doesn't work like that.
