I’m surprised you haven’t been pinged to this yet. Comments? I've known that sword fighting in movies has been bogus for a long time... especially fighting with japanese blades. They attempt to never strike blade to blade. And broadswords are heavy... not meant for fencing like you see... or even much swinging.
