Rubio would of been better, but would of took the spotlight.... Ryan might get some Ron Paul supporters...but will lose some older people on medicare...and does nothing for Independents.

AND, I know independents who are VERY concerned about our economy...and who are impressed with Ryan.
Anybody that thinks the black vote is splittable is nuts. Two cents or 6 pence.

He won’t! Someone posted that who doesn’t know seniors very well. I and every other senior I know passed the “senior” age many years ago and we’re smarter than that. Whoever believes that is believing the democrats same old tired phrases. They really need to think of some new ones!
Be prepared for dem ads depicting seniors not only being rolled over a cliff in their wheelchairs but to be shot, strangled, poisoned, and stabbed in the bargain ala Rasputin - whatever it takes!

Remember that a vote for TARP was a vote to buy up the toxic assets that were created by bad govt. policy in the first place. He wasn’t voting to take over companies and if that was the case I don’t think it ever would have passed. I still think he was wrong but you gotta remember the context.
Obama later decided unilaterally that he could use the TARP money for whatever he damn well pleased.
I’m with you on the bailout vote but his overall economic philosophy seems to be sound to me.
