What do you guys make of this? One interpretation states that the military vote is being suppressed, another says they're just trying to extend it to everyone. But wouldn't that, by extension, mean limiting the rights of the one given the privilege?

it’s hard for people to vote it states on the last line.

HUH? so because ID required it’s hard for people to vote, really how about buying booze, cigs, driving, etc

What a crock this administration the left are. They don’t want ID because it’s hardr for illegals to vote and for them to vote early and often or dead people to vote.

If we did not have such a bias liberal crap called the media this country would get the truth and the Dems would not keep getting away with their lies, cheating, fraud etc.

I thought each state was allowed to set its own rules in regards to voting? If Ohio wants to allow extra time for the military votes because they’re half was around the world in harm’s way, the feds have no “standing”.

Screw the Democrats! Screw Zerobama! Screw anyone that tries to disenfranchise our awesome military personnel! And screw any jackwagon that uses the ‘we can’t get a photo i.d.’ argument!

The Ohio law that provides a few extra days for military members to vote actually does not go far enough and should provide members of the military, some veterans and those engaged in pastoral work, seven days after an Election Day to cast their ballots.

Why are the communist ‘RATS suing Ohio? Must have something with the state run “media” saying that you can’t win the presidency without winning Ohio.

A Buckeye here. I am arguing with friends and family that all votes should be made in person and on election day and with ID. Overseas votes can be cast at an embassy or other sovereign US territory (such as an aircraft carrier or military base).

If you are physically unable to travel to a ballot box then the ballot box must be brought to you with all its legal trappings and people.

That is it. It may disenfranchise a few people including a soldier who just cannot make it to the booth. But it would be worth it to reduce the incidence of fraud.

I also believe that anyone who feeds at a taxpayer trough should not be allowed to vote at whatever level they draw their check. Flame away about soldiers if you wish but in another decade or two our military will be remade into reliable government party votes.
