It may have arguably been the first time in this summer's Olympics a tape delay would have been useful.
On Wednesday NBC's underwater camera captured a womens water polo player briefly exposing another player's breast to shocked reaction from viewers watching live at home.
'You see a lot of suit grabbing going on underwater,' an NBC sports broadcaster said after the control room cut to the live underwater swimsuit fight between Spain and the U.S

There is a former Olympic swimmer guesting on Fox and Friends this AM. They did a few look backs at some of her medals, and now I remember seeing the full length suits in years past. I think that I remember hearing something about how these suits shed the water and give the swimmer an edge.
All I can say is that these suits look like the ones my mother and father in law wore at Coney Island in the 1930s — not very flattering.

I concur with your post.
Water polo players are by far the most conditioned athletes of all sports, and I have conditioned and trained for both main stream sports (foootball etc..) and water polo.
It’s a sport that uses by far more muscle groups than the usual mainstream sports.

One of these days Olympic coverage will be free to all and unbiased, no more NBC monopoly.
I'm not sure who you think would be providing this free coverage, and what you think there would be to cover. Without the $1.2 billion NBC paid for broadcast rights, there would likely be no Olympics held, and without NBC holding major events until prime time and showing commercials, there would be no cameramen or technical directors or any of the other 2,800 people NBC is paying to work the games.
I get that the coverage sometimes sucks, but you don't get something for nothing.

Boobs are mostly fat. These young athletes have very low body fat. After they finish their training and get back to a less severe diet nature will bring back those assets to where they should have been!

This makes me feel sad for women athletes. Many of them work incredibly hard, year after year, to compete in demanding sports, but at the end, they’re still just T&A to the tv audience.

What’s to watch? That’s my point. It’s so confined and the players are so limited by the water. But to each his own.
There are plenty of jokes about most Olympic sports not being spectator sports, but since they are broadcast once every four years there is a sense of “see it or wait another four years”. And then after you see it (I’m speaking of my own personal experience here) you wonder why you bothered.
