Thanks for posting that, Tennessee Nana.
“Civil rights”......LOL
Okay so now we are left with two sodomites to choose from.
Do you prefer the marxist sodomite or the free market sodomite?
Neither.

Oh dear...
It seems that your fellow RomneyBot, MissouriConservative went Bye Bye on another thread..
The boss himself ZOTTED him...
(I find no reason or sanity in exhausting our energies kicking each other in the groins over disagreements of how to get to the same end goal).
...I am not attacking your or insulting you

Romney is not my idea of a conservative. I might hold my nose and vote for him anyway when it comes time to pull the lever, but publicly proclaiming it in advance just encourages the GOP to keep giving us RINOs.
No sale. I've also heard the same every election since Reagan.
The GOP has become part of the problem, and is not part of the solution.
The GOP needs to go the way of the Whigs.

Right J.
And I for one am tired of the “next time” or “after that” argument.
Easiest for many now is to stay off of Free Republic ‘till either Obama wins or Mitt finishes his terms , should he win.
Their game? One way or another, knock out the Conservative[s], nominate a Liberal and then start with, "It is our guy or the Democrat" chant.
No, but you have the ability to influence the selection in one way or the other. Or like you say vote "present" and let somebody else make the decision for you.
Maybe it's best for people that cannot tell the difference to abstain from voting.
I have consistently through this thread read your responses in which you accuse me of bashing, attacking, etc..., yet I am at a loss to go back and find anything of the sort in my responses. You further took my words, "I cannot stop you from voting", and turned them into me forcing you against your will.
I find it disheartening that because we disagree it has to be taken as a personal attack against you for each line that I type. I can honestly say I have never been in a thread with a FReeper such as yourself who took it in such a way.
With all due respect, after I hit send on this post I promise you that I wish, and shall, return to that status again...at least for a while anyway.
I mean to grow the Tea Party...
Why would I want to influence the selection between one pro-abortion, anti-gun, socialized medicine, big-government liberal and another?
That's your gig.

Romney responded. I believe my record as a person who has supported civil rights is strong and powerful.

Yeah, Wee Willie seems to think that if he “believes” it it is so or something...
In reality he is a life long dues paying member of a whate supremist religion that denied blaks civil rights until 1978..
14 years aftter the Civil Rights Act...
So much for “strong and powerful”
I think al;so he is confused with a prophecy from his own religion that foretells “one who is strong and mighty” ruling and saving the country...
While he was in college (the Mormon Brighyam Young University) his fellow students called him “one strong and mighty” which apparantly went to his head and now he thinks he is the “savior” of thye country as he was the 2002 Winter Olympics...
However when he lied about the guys runnib fg the Olympics and got them fired, he ened up spending 50% more than they were goiung to...
It finally cost us US taxpayers $1.5 BILLION dollars to pay for all the fancy extra unnecessary trimmings that the boy wanted to have...
In 2000 John McCain had a fit about the bills for pork that were piling up...
From the Congressional Record:
Senator McCain on the GAO Report
On Sept. 19, 2000, Sen. McCain, speaking in opposition to the Conference Report on the 2001 Legislative Branch Appropriations bill advised the Senate of details from the GAOs report. As recorded in the Congressional Record, Sen. McCain stated,
The GAO now determines that $1.3 billionand some of those I will read: $974,000 for the Utah State Olympic Public Safety Command; $5 million for the Utah Communications Agency Network; $3 million to Olympic Regional Development Authority, upgrades at Mt. Van Hoevenberg Sports Complex; $2.5 million, Salt Lake City Olympics bus facilities; $2.5 million, Salt Lake City Olympics regional park-and-ride lots; $500,000, Salt Lake City Olympics transit bus loan, and on and on; $925,000 to allow the Utah State Olympic Public Safety Command to continue to develop and support a public safety program for the 2002 Winter Olympics; $1 million for the 2002 Winter Olympics security training; $2.2 million for the Charleston Water Conservancy District, UT, to meet sewer infrastructure needs associated with the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. What the Olympic games supposedly hosted and funded by Salt Lake City, which began in corruption and bribery, has now turned into is an incredible pork-barrel project for Salt Lake City and its environs. Sen. John McCain in the United States Senate, Sept. 19, 2000 - [Page S8731-S8748 - Congressional Record.]
“I gotta ask...WTH is with the backslash Johnny thing?” That’s easy /johnny is algebra for divided by johnny. He is the leader of a pack of 7 or 8 here who jump on these threads with the goal of dividing our side so Obama can run through the gap and back to the White House. They like to generate heated responses to give themselves the much needed attention they require. Conservative who remember 1992 are afraid that these folks, who have us losing as their ultimate goal, will repeat Perot’s feat of the dividing the conservative vote (56%) 2 ways, Bush 38%, Perot 19%. There by letting Clinton waltz in with just 43% of the vote. Not to worry though. The Rasmussen daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows Mitt Romney attracting 49% of the vote, while President Obama earns support from just 44%. Interesting, four years ago today, the Rasmussen tracker had Obama leading McCain by the exact same margin, 49-44. We really don’t need these people (he said yesterday that he might vote for Romney if enough of us beg him. Somebody told him to fold up his ballot and stick up his...something) This will be a landslide victory for conservatives and we will take the Senate and increase in the House. By the end of the first term we will replace two liberals on the Supreme Court with young conservatives hand picked by Judge Bork. Investors and Business owners will start making moves starting Wednesday Nov. 7th and our Country will begin the strongest recovery in history. It will be a great time to be a conservative Republican American. You can book mark it.
Who do you guys suggest we vote for as president in 2012?
Can you link to a few threads showing us the candidate we should consider?
Thank you.
/johnny
