In New York, Parole Board commissioners are appointed by the governor so we go for stretches with killers being let go then a new governor comes in and we have time when there aren't many releases.

Is that the way it works in Texas? Do you know if there are any liberals on the Parole Board?

I don’t know...I know this guy saying it’s time to decide if they are going to foot the bills for him forever or let him go and watch him through his parole officer...that truly scares me.
