If you know the subject and your own screen name try something like this in google to narrow it down.

I know what you mean, EB - I have wanted to see posts I made several years ago, but the only way I know is to go to search, type in your username, and then keyword, and click ‘user’ (not title), and then go through all of them. Keep going back, and back and back and back. I have spent literally hours doing this.

I have always wished we could type in a date or month or year, and get our posts, but so far - no such luck.

Click your name in your post, and when your page comes up, click “in forum”.

Try this: Go to Google. Enter the following.

Site:www.freerepublic.com/tag/by:bigbadeasterbunny/index?tab=comments;brevity=full;options=no-change your search term

Log out then type your screen name in the search. At least that eliminates the comments you have received from others.

1. Click on your own name at the end of your post #1 This will take you to your “about” page.

2. At the top will be a link to “In Forum”. Click that. This is all of your writing, nobody else’s answers etc.

3. Hit Ctrl+F. This brings up a search box. Type a word or phrase you used in the message you’re trying to find.

4. The rest should be self explanatory. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, try the “Next Page” link at the bottom. You’ll have to gdo Ctrl+F again.

Try using this as a link..replace "yourname"
with your username (NO spaces allowed in the username!)

When I did it it took me back to posts I made in 2001
Just try subbing different numbers other than 500000
(smaller = farther back...but if you go to far then nothing)

I have made a lot of posts...you might need larger numbers. This will take you back to 2001 :-)
