Burger King, home of the Whopper and, at least for a limited time, the bacon sundae.

The AP reports that BK will launch the treat — which has fudge, caramel, crumbled bacon and a full piece of bacon — later this week, along with other limited time items.

It has 510 calories, 18 grams of fat and 61 grams of sugar, but we're guessing that these numbers won't discourage the bacon-curious from giving it a try.

Your penance will require you eat a cold BLT using Miracle Whip instead of the Nectar of the Bacon Gods, Mayonnaise.

EXCEPT for those of us with discriminating taste, who prefer the "sweet, tangy" elixir, of Miracle Whip over (yuk) Mayonnaise.

No "penance" here; no purgatory; just "good eats!" lol

Actually, it's not. Salt in sweet foods is amazing. And anything that will make Mayor Bloomberg cry is worth pursuing.

Mr Bacon and Monsieur Tofu? LOL!

And as for this: “If pork-covered pork appeals to you, you may also enjoy the bacon-wrapped deep-fried hot dog.”, well, my dog probably thinks I’m a lunatic at this point, because I can’t stop laughing.

You have quite the creative mind, CVV! :)

Threads like this is one reason why I love FR. :)

I love #49. Caramel and salt (bacon) go beautifully together. It’s one of the hottest desserts in NYC restaurants. It really does work.

Hmmmm....

Since sausage tastes delicious with pancake syrup, maybe it wouldn’t be that bad.

It’s the ice cream that throws me off. I could easily eat a piece of bacon dipped in caramel and not be thrown by that. But add ice cream? Blech.

I like bacon and peanut butter sandwiches and I like peanut butter sandwiches with hot peppers so I’m guessing the bacon sundae might be worth a shot.

I have to wonder sometimes if these photos are real or photoshopped. Seriously though, why would she be caught in a picture weilding a shovel like a spear from an African tribe???

(Ironically the woman pictured in Africa with a machete actually does look happy)
With Michelle Obama being the First Lady of the White House, she would arguably have a lot more to be happy about. Her pissed off expression reminds me of Aunt Esther from Sanford and Son but now comparing the 2 expressions of theirs, MO looks more pissed than her even.

So my question stands, was this a real pic of MO or was it photoshopped?

You'd think she'd be smiling since it is obviously a photo op as she isn't actually working as you'll notice the absence of sweat and the just idea alone that she is working for the "children" (what is it some function related to the "Let's Move" campaign of hers?) you'd think she'd at least attempt to appear happy.

ps. is that Sahsa or Malia in the backround in say 3-5 years from now?

When I think BLT, “tangy” is the last thing that comes to mind.

When I met my Wife, she loved Miracle Whip. It took a decade, but I got her completely off the stuff. LOL
