Ahhh and once again your wrong being I told you exactly why GM didn't do well on the Internet period up thread. (People rarely buy cars on the internet Sparky.)
but keep trying you'll eventually get something right.
The fact that all those accounts are not producing what the Market hoped in real sales.
You keep confusing numbers with value.
The Market is evaluating FB and that is why it is dropping on the Market.
I said the world would not notice if FB disappeared, and it wouldn't, since it has no real use in the world, except to entertain people.
I never claimed that they did poorly in advertising, you cannot read.
What I said is that their advertising wasn't effective in selling, that is why GM pulled out.
Companies are spending money on FB because there are a great deal of people on it, but they are learning that their ad dollars aren't generating many sales.
So, don't readjust my statements.
FB has no REAL value in the world.
The Market is finding that even though it is popular, that popularity doesn't translate into business sales for those companies spending ad money on it.
GM wasn't selling cars on FB, they were advertising them on FB (you know like they do on TV), and they were not getting a good return for those ad's.
You don't read much do you?
An executive at another large consumer products company said the issue with advertising on Facebook is nobody really knows yet if it works better than traditional media and is worth the money spent. "Is it just a shiny new object, or is it a real value proposition?" said the executive, who asked not to be identified.

GM wasn't selling cars on the internet like Craiglist does, they were advertising them-sparky.
But since you have lost the argument, with FB market value dropping like a rock, I can understand your desperation-sparky.
So?
How does show it's real market value?
Answer-it doesn't.
But like you said Facebook is useless right and nothing more than Narcissism. hahahaha
Yes, most of it is.
And many people who are on it are finding that out and leaving it.
LOL!
It is about someone deleting his FB account.

Seems that the Chinese did little buying from us, but a great deal of selling.
Numbers don't always translate into real sales.
The ad money being spent on FB will easily be reallocated to more productive venues.
It means that the Market is seeing through all the hype about potential customers and recognizing that ad money is not getting a good return showing up in actual sales.
FB's real worth is only in it's entertainment use.
The Market got it right.
Gee, how did the Market not grasp the fact that FB is on the cutting edge of technology and will usher in the brave new world of ad's reaching billions?
“Facebook is, like it or not, the most intellectually stimulating invention since Gutenberg.”
LOL!
People brought into Enron also.
If you knew economics you would know that Say's law states at a low enough price, just about anything will sell-sparky.
Also read an earlier thread on FB where they linked to the Police dept that was responsible for arresting the Marine at the Walker Recall rally. Seems a lot of people are using their FB page to register displeasure over the Police Dept violating the Marine's Constitutional Rights. Guess they didn't get your memo either.
hahahaha Keep flailing Sparky.
Be careful to wait at least three+ weeks before you even check to make sure your account is deleted.
So, now you go back the view that FB is a social network-so what!
LOL!
Facebook killer sentenced to life for teenager's murder Peter Chapman, who used fake Facebook profile to lure student Ashleigh Hall, told he must serve a minimum of 35 years http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2010/mar/08/peter-chapman-facebook-killer
Keep them coming-sparky.
Figure out Says law yet?
I stated that was the primary use of it and that it was popular due to it's appeal to narcissists.
I never denied that FB has some legimate social network uses, but they are small in proportion to it's use simply for people talking to one another about what they are doing.
Don't go trying setting up strawmen.
We are discussing the real value of FB, which is very small in relationship to it's popularity.
Facebook and other popular social sites that operate in the United States currently maintain an age limit to avoid the cumbersome restrictions of the 1998 Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), which requires commercial websites to get parental permission before collecting the personal information of any user under the age of 13. COPPA can’t protect kids who join in violation of Facebook’s rules anyway, and so concerns such as privacy, online predators and bullying remain.

So lets review once again your claims.
!. "No one would notice if Facebook went away Tomorrow." (such is laughable how easy that one is to disprove. Over 500 Million use it every single day and to claim they would not miss it is indeed LOL laughable.)
2. "Facebook is not useful." (900 million active accounts which includes individuals, civic groups, Cities and Townships, Churches, Retail Businesses and Manufacturing corporations Charities and Non Profits. Again Laughable. Hard to argue all those people aren't engage in Facebook daily if they don't find it useful.)
3. "Its only for entertainment." (hahaha Well being a large portion of the accounts are business accounts and being Towns Cities, Civic Organizations and Businesses and such all use Facebook to promote and inform and conduct Business anyone with an IQ higher than that of a box of rocks can see how dumb that statement is.)
And now your latest try at getting something right: "Facebook users know Facebook is worthless because of the stock price." Well I was just on Facebook Hello Music was running a contest giving away a free Les Paul Guitar and running specials on Some recording equipment. To enter the contest YOU Must be on Facebook. two thousand dollar guitar and they give one away each month (as well as Drums an Microphones etc.) bo Mention of the Price of Facebook stock. Nor was there on the Local Baptist Church informing their Facebook followers about Sundays Services and a Bake sale they are having. Nor Did the Local boy Scout troop Mention anything about Facebook Stock Price But they did have lots of info on their upcoming activities. And the New Music Group 2SteelGirls just launched their Facebook Page (they are from our Area and are about to break on the Video Channels) if they think Facebook is worthless because of the Stock Price why would they launch their FB page now.
So once again you've got it wrong. hahahaha
