"I reposted the article about GM stopping it’ ad’s on FB, you clearly hadn’t read it."

Ahhh and once again your wrong being I told you exactly why GM didn't do well on the Internet period up thread. (People rarely buy cars on the internet Sparky.)

but keep trying you'll eventually get something right.

You had better read the actual article.

GM wasn't selling cars on FB, they were advertising them on FB (you know like they do on TV), and they were not getting a good return for those ad's.

You don't read much do you?

This does highlight what we are arguing is the riskiness of the overall Facebook business model," he said. "It is not a sure thing. It sure looks likely that it will be one of the most important ad-supported media properties, but it's not certain because there will be marketers who are challenged to prove the effectiveness of the marketing vehicle."

An executive at another large consumer products company said the issue with advertising on Facebook is nobody really knows yet if it works better than traditional media and is worth the money spent. "Is it just a shiny new object, or is it a real value proposition?" said the executive, who asked not to be identified.

GM wasn't selling cars on the internet like Craiglist does, they were advertising them-sparky.

But since you have lost the argument, with FB market value dropping like a rock, I can understand your desperation-sparky.

You remind me of all those 'experts' who were always talking about opening the Chinese market, after all there are over a billion potential consumers.

Seems that the Chinese did little buying from us, but a great deal of selling.

Numbers don't always translate into real sales.

The ad money being spent on FB will easily be reallocated to more productive venues.

The Market got it right.

Gee, how did the Market not grasp the fact that FB is on the cutting edge of technology and will usher in the brave new world of ad's reaching billions?
