Scenario 2: Obama’s numbers continue to plummet. Dem leadership will put pressure on him to decline the nomination, thus opening the door for Hillary to step in and save the election for the Dems.
The only way she gets on the ticket is as VP to replace Biden and that could happen depending on where Obama stands in the polls. It will be his Hail Hillary pass.
I get the feeling that whoever makes obama dance is going to cut his strings, and soon...to cut their losses.
They need to get ahead of what's coming, so they have some control and/or can minimize the damage.
Nothing personal, just business, like a team cutting or trading an injured player, they've already moved on.

BC goes around saying he is FOR Obama, but launches into themes that are the opposite of what Obama is doing.

Too late for anything except a convention challenge although I don’t know how that could happen short of open revolt which would likely doom the party this time around. No chance that anything could happen to make 0 pull out for the good of the party.
