1. I was listening to the Hugh Hewitt show a few hours ago and a guy called in, a medical employee at a hospital. He said that he happened to be checking out two Black patients in different rooms who had no connection to each other. Both of them had family members visiting them. In both situations, the subject of Obama approving gay marriage came up and in both cases, the family members were irate and said they were going to "stay home" on election day. Sure, it's anecdotal but it could be significant. Blacks have a higher rate of opposition to gay marriage than any other ethnic group.
2. A recent poll in the state of Ohio showed that a whopping 62 percent of voters OPPOSED gay marriage. In a closely fought state swing state like Ohio, which Obama badly needs, this could make quite a difference in the outcome.
I think Obama made, politically, a huge mistake.

Agreed. I was visiting online with some friends last night, several of whom are black. One said that this was a “tangible reason” for blacks to not vote for Obama. He said they probably won’t vote for Romney, but they won’t turn out for Obama in nearly the numbers they did in 2008.

I agree. EVERYTHING he does is either for money and/or votes. And when it comes to America, he only does things TO America, never FOR America.
I don’t see any way it can help him. Anyone with those beliefs were already voting for him anyway. The only thing it can do is drive some voters away.
Wonder what Biden’s role really was? Planned? If so, by Obama or was it an inside hit job?
And I agree as well. A good friend of mine (happens to be African-American) told me that blacks really resent the way gays constantly compare themselves to the civil rights movement of the 1950’s and 60’s. Blacks view that as THEIR struggle, rightly so in my opinion, and they do not care for the way a bunch of privilged white folks of bad moral character are highjacking the civil right legacy for their dubious purposes.
Two calculations went into his coming out. 1. He believed that it wouldn’t cost him many votes. He figures it will be a non-issue by November and 2. Money.

EXACTLY. One of my friends mentioned that. Many Blacks correctly view the civil rights struggle on moral grounds - you can’t discriminate on the basis of how God made you - and they don’t think that God creates homosexuality. They view it as a choice and they do NOT like having that mantle assumed by gays.
Oh....I think you are absolutely correct....it is the Chicago Way. Homosexuals are desperate to get all their Marxists in place to program and condition children in the schools into thinking up is down-—evil is good. As soon as zero is out, the homosexual promoting school czar who loves boys having sex with old men, will definitely be booted—and with him the pro-sick curricula.
Everyone should get their kids out of public schools until the homosexuals can not indoctrinate and sexualize children. Hold Jerry Brown for sexualization of your children and force him to get the Marxist’s Sex Education OUT of the schools and arrest his buddy producers who were sodomizing the Corey boys at their orgies. Maybe Brown is exactly like his idol—John Maynard Keynes who was using little boys at his homosexual orgies. How reasonable to make little boys think sodomy is good......great idea........for a Afghanistan like worldview for the boys-—who are in harems for the use of the old men.
Longer term, a Jewish friend of mine said he may just have blown florida with the independent Jews. Interesting thought.
Thought when I first heard it a comment made in a discussion years ago by a friend who joked about her permanent tan. She said (in the late seventies) when another friend argued that one day the conservative democrats in the south and the mid-western conservative republicans would merge. She said way back then that someday a religious issue would trigger the Christian African Americans to join with them.....Has the time come: The uniting of three conservative facets creating a “New political party”?
OTOH BO and MO only know what REV Wright has told them....acceptance of all things liberal.
