You might want to take away the chain saws as well.

Never bring a sword to a chain saw fight...

When I was in Australia a few years back, I was amazed at how many people were beaten to death by golf clubs, cricket bats, chairs, and pipes.

As we all know (but Liberals don't) -- Guns don't kill people. People kill people.

one man's arm was almost severed with a chain saw, while another had a finger chopped off with a Samurai sword

Arm/finger. We now know which movie got it right.

Whata crazy story.

First peopledo not keep chainsaws lying within easy reach in the house, so this guy didn’t just grab the chain saw for self-defense, It was a deliberate act to go an get it.
Then at the end they are saying that now people in Australia should be licensed to operate a chain saw. Give me a break.

Instruction in the use of a chain saw is certainly not a bad idea, many people get injured by them because they do not know how to use them properly, but a license to operate one? That is a bit ludicrous.

Good grief, I think I’d rather take my changes with getting shot!
