Not a day goes by

Posted on 05/01/2012 8:02:12 AM PDT by whiteclockinthetrees

Not a day goes bythat we do not hear dreadful news. Even'no news is good news'hardly applies. For our hearts tell us the world wags on in an ever more sped up downhill trend. Each day that goes by more loved ones are lost in the noisy raucus crowd as it edges its way into the fibers of our once simple, trusting life -oftimes via evil schemes we can scarcely imagine.(The devil he wears a slippery shoe and if you don't watch out he will slip it on you). But it helps to know there are freepers and friends out there who understand the basics of what I'm talking about. Please, any one reading this, step away from the world each day and glorify God. Jesus you can trust.

On second thought, I suggest you walk a mile in the Devil's shoes. That way, you'll have his shoes, and you'll be a mile away.

P.S. Dali was a fraudulent little Devil himself.

I am a redneck Christian with a strange sense of humor. I’m not a bigot. We are all a blend of different nationalities.

That said:

I once wrote a short musical about a Jewish family living in an Italian neighborhood. They decided to sell their own kosher pizza, shaped as the star of David.

The music was inspired by the slur used to identify Italians, many years ago, which sounds exactly like your heading. Needless to say, their business was poor....

I know a Japanese girl who was raised in a predominantly Italian neighborhood. She isn’t Japanese anymore. Her personality is that of Italian. Hands are always moving when talking, very expressive and articulate. Very short and hot-tempered, etc. :-)

A Zulu raised in Scarsdale would be an orthodontist, said P.J. O’Rourke.
