On Saturday during a firearms safety class in Bedford, Virginia, Michael L. Deel, 54, shot himself in the hand with a .45-caliber handgun and with the same bullet shot his wife, Michelle, 49, in the leg.

Did he have one of those Dan Wesson Havoc’s with a trigger pull so light, you could breath on it to fire (for competition only).
I know a police sergeant in a major city that shot himself in the foot. He kept his position but with no small amount of razzing from his fellow officers.
What better firearm safety class than shooting yourself?
Again, in answer to the question, should everyone own a gun that was posed earlier this week, no, some folks are just not cut out for gun ownership.
This guy and the guy who shot his girlfriend thinking he was shooting a hog (fired blindly) is the other example from just this week why the answer is no.
