There have been student protests in previous days by students telling the U not to dismiss him. He is a winning coach. They would gladly look the other way. That is how UA football is seen in nwArkansas.

It is somewhat surprising that they fired him -- but it was for the cover up, not the affair -- he lied to the U about their relationship.
