If KLIF is not making room for Huckabee from 11-2 than he'll be over in RUSH's time slot at WBAP soon. Thank you Dickey Bros. I hope you enjoy eating your own cooking 'cause it is going to stink in Dallas.

You didnt mention any reports. You just threw out speculation to whip up a frenzy without any proof. You might want to be careful about calling people radicals when you do that type of thing.

A detroit station quit doing conservative talk radio a few years back and went to all sports all the tiem...Rush was immediately picked up by ABC. All you had to do was change the dial...(I think its ABC, they carry Rush, Hannady /sp and Levin....

There was someone posting on FR at the time that the move was likely from Clear Channel bringing their syndicated shows back to their own stations.

Ill assign the Alinsky label when I see his tactics being used by those who would chose to post on this forum. You do realize that ridicule was not invented by Alinsky, right?
To: Raider Sam
I posted a Jeffrey Lord piece, a piece from a local radio news website and a blog post from a similar site minutes before I posted my question about Rush. I did this as background for that question. Maybe you should keep up.

He comes across as sort of a Mr. Rogers of politics (and not in a good way).

Not at KSFO He was on this week He's apparently gone now.
I can't find anything about it in the news or on the internet. Haven't finished checking the SF radio blogs.
Nothing on Rich Lieberman's blog.

Small hometown stations need to be worried. The internet will have the same effect on them as it has on their brothers the newspaper.Yep. Here in the People's Republic of Illinois WTAX (Springfield) recently replaced Levin with some sort of Wall St Journal talk show. Guess the leftists up here must have complained too much.
They do still carry Back, Rush, and Hannity, at least for now. They got an earfull from me about Levin, though, FWIW.

All Cumulus stations are going to replace Rush with Huckabee when his contracts expire. That is what I am hearing.

Then they can take a hit on ratings and advertising revenue.
