If KLIF is not making room for Huckabee from 11-2 than he'll be over in RUSH's time slot at WBAP soon. Thank you Dickey Bros. I hope you enjoy eating your own cooking 'cause it is going to stink in Dallas.

Rush changes stations from time to time.It just happened in Boston recently.A major market like Dallas won’t go uncovered....*far* too much money to be lost in such a scenario.

Stations come and go all the time, as do advertisers, people are just focused on it now because of the left’s distortion of an alleged destruction of Limbaugh.

There was an article in RadioInk this week that quoted John Dickey as stating Rush and Hannity are both trending down. He was enthusiastic about Huck being syndicated.
Look for a few Cumulus Media stations to make the switch. But....I’ll bet it won’t be for long.
Huck is the “Mike Douglas” of radio. Pure vanilla with a lingering aftertaste.

KFSO San Francisco dropped Rush for purely financial reasons.

Maybe there is something I'm missing about Huckabee or maybe he's more entertaining on radio. But I've watched his show on Fox (well 10 or 15 minutes of it) and Huckabee is about as entertaining as watching paint dry. He comes across as sort of a “Mr. Rogers” of politics (and not in a good way).

KFSO San Francisco dropped Rush for purely financial reasons.Did that happen recently? If so it could have been partially (or entirely) motivated by politics (boycotts, etc). You'd expect that in a people's republic like San Francisco.Or,given that he has a station in Oakland, maybe two stations were one too many in such a people's republic...even a large one.

Really? So they couldn’t afford to pay for his show anymore??? That says more about them. Conservative talk does just fine in the Bay Area. Rush in on 910 now and kicking the snot out of JD Hayworth. I like JD but he is not getting RUsh’s ratings

Well if they cut Rush here I will have to catch up on some reading. Now where did those back issues of the phone book go. Got to be ready you know.

This happened pre-boycott. The day he was dropped (a few months ago) Brian Sussman read the announcement from the suits stating that Rush had asked for more money and KSFO declined. Yes, 910 does broadcast Rush and I'm not surprised they are kicking butt. Also KSFO dropped Officer Vic from the lineup and picked up Melanie Morgan. Not sure I liked that move either.

Small hometown stations need to be worried. The internet will have the same effect on them as it has on their brothers the newspaper.

The Dickey Brothers own WABC as well as WBAP. ijs
