Cops: Accused Prostitute Offered Undercover Officer Sex For Cheeseburgers Off McDonald's Dollar Menu
The woman, the detective reported, replied that the pair could go have sexual intercourse if I bought her two double cheese burgers off the dollar menu at McDonalds. The cop added, I agreed to the deal and purchased the hamburgers for $2.75.

It isn’t often you catch sight of planes in the act of copulating.
Notice that the male is quite a bit smaller than the female. He’s lucky he doesn’t get eaten.
Then again, I think it’s unlikely we’ll be seeing him flying around again.
(Thanks for posting the picture!)

That little one used to breathe fire.
They had him muzzled for this flight.

I was humming right along here yesterday, when I heard a loud “BOOM” and everything went dark. It seems a pideon committed suicide on a transformer.
I don’t think he’ll be doing that again any time soon. The power was off for over two hours, which is a record. So I just took the opportunity to take a nap.
But now, I’m ba-a-ack!

Good morning. Off to feed Kathleen and then my prayer group. It’s chilly here - I had to wear my ear-warmer to go on my walk!

Off to feed Kathleen and then my prayer group. You fed the prayer group? And at some point I need to finish the "Happy Real Birthday" video I started for Kathleen the day she was born and shelved because working with one hand was a bummer . . .

Yar. There be flying saucers in your niece's excellent photo.
Or overhead lights reflected in the window through which she took the photo.
But the Globe will pay more if they be flying saucers.

King Ozymandias of Assyria was running low on cash after years of war with the Hittites. His last great possession was the Star of the Euphrates, the most valuable diamond in the ancient world.
Desperate, he went to Croesus, the pawnbroker, to ask for a loan.
Croesus said, “I’ll give you 100,000 dinars for it.”
“But I paid a million dinars for it,” the King protested.
“Don’t you know who I am? I am the king!”
Croesus replied, “When you wish to pawn a Star, makes no difference who you are.”

You mean you don’t love bad puns? No punishment for you, then.
Pick a cod, any cod at all. That smelt. Then why say it? Just for the halibut.

Afternoon, all (EDT). After lunch, we’re going to the library; then we’ll take Tom to his science team meeting. I think I can fit in a stop at The Salvation Army, too: I have some Stuff to give away.
