The woman, the detective reported, replied that the pair could go have sexual intercourse if I bought her two double cheese burgers off the dollar menu at McDonalds. The cop added, I agreed to the deal and purchased the hamburgers for $2.75.

Happy Canada Day, eh!
Yeah.
*Bad idea generated*
True, but it would be off topic if we had one.
A stupid person could try to appear smart, but people would see through it.
Well, I have to wait for the formal offer, but it should come tomorrow or Tuesday, and then I will have a limited time to take possession.
But I’m so doggone happy about it. :o])
Bill just got home from work: he says it’s hot out. Beeber says 103. Three new babies at church today, and two deaths reported. A man in his 40s went running last week, dropped dead from a heart attack, a la Andrew Breitbart, and a deacon from another parish, 60-ish, died in his sleep last night.
Stay inside, unless you’re in Canada, and drink lots of water.
Oooohhhh! That sounds GOOD! So. Now that I’ll have bigger digs, you gonna come visit? I’ll stock up on your favorite beer!
Thanks Ladies!
Jim Fixx, the jogger who got it all started in the ‘70’s died of a heart attack while he was running. Up until then, everyone thought he was super healthy. Made the medicos take a second look.
May it be all you are hoping for!

I remember (reading about it). Health is more complicated than we often realize, although NOT running in high-90s weather, unless pursued by zombies, should be a no-brainer.
It’s BIGGER! That’s all I care about! LOL!
I heard on the Rush show that more than 1 hour of normal exercise, 3 times a week was bad for your health. Running in the heat would probably count as being a bad thing for ones health.
Waddya mean "unless you're in Canada"? Are you picturing me in my igloo?
One can tell which people have lived here for a few years, because they jog in the early morning. Newcomers do it late morning and are lucky to make it home without tipping over.
Which is why when I walk to Walmart I do it before the sun comes up this time of year. I don’t even want to see it over the yardarm until I’m waiting for the bus!
No, but since you said it was nice there, I figured it's not 104. That's the National Weather Service number; I guess it's in the sun, but probably not in a parking lot, which might be 110 or more.
Some parts of the state are getting rain, but not us. I started watering the vegetables when I got up at 6:00 this morning, before I even poured a cup of coffee.
It’s 99 out, but the humidity is finally down to 7%. Nice breeze out there though!
It sounds like she was hungry for food. Some people are led to desparate methods to stay alive.
Yesterday, in the early AM, Busdaddy and I were making some minor adjustments to his racecar. It was fairly “cool” with the breeze coming in the garage door. We were done well before noon.
Around then, he stepped outside to retrieve the trash can (yes, Trash Day hits the Desert, too!) and said, “Ya know...it’s a little warm out there. It was 109...he took his little Racing Beeber, went out to the street, and came back in saying, “The asphalt is 143.” Yah. Fried eggs, anyone?
No wonder the A/C ran non-stop.
Yah!
