Drop Out Mitt Romney

Posted on 03/26/2012 10:57:00 AM PDT by Advocatus Sancti Sepulchri

I will not vote for Mitt Romney under any circumstance in November. The fact that he is the frontrunner is a disgrace and those that endorse him, those delegates that vote for him, and the establishment have my full contempt. He is the John Kerry of the Republican Party. His record is very liberal on virtually every issue. He is a shameless opportuntist..the etch sketch will reset for the general election. If you support the second amendment, marriage, pro-life cause, etc., how can you justify voting for Mitt Romney? He's treating republicans, or at least conservatives, like idiots while his surrogates plan to dump the weak, phony campaign of faux conservatism at the next step. He will lose worse than Ford, Dole, and McCain.

Very sage advice.

I should know better by now than to jump into these threads. I’d be better off dropping a hammer on my toe.

Which is why Santorum is not my first choice.

Your delusional to the point of absurdity..do you really want take a look at judicial nominees appointed by Romney as govenor? You know, maybe your right, only solidly liberal republicans will guaruntee a defeat of Obama and bring forth conservative appointments to the bench.

Interesting, you invoke Joe McCarthy who warned about Soviet Penetration of our government as a defense of Romney penetrating the Republican Party and call on us to vote for “anyone” regardless of who they are or what they stand for..amazing twists and turns.

A vote for Romney is a vote for Obama

Do you seriously think Romney would appoint another "wise Latina" to the Court?

Watch the Brietbart 2012 CPAC Speech, all the way to the end and get back to me.

Dictator Baby-Doc Barack has ALWAYS ignored The US Constitution, ESPECIALLY with Obama”care.”

The cancer of Obama”care” now has invaded World Finances as Obama last week choose a “Public health expert” for the World Bank Presidency.

Romney has promised to “Repeal and REPLACE” Obama”care.”

Senator (R Tn) Son-of-a-Mitch McConnell has promised to “Repeal and REPLACE” Obama”care.”
_______

The major problem with THE NINE SUPREMES is that they are chosen for political reasons by the POTUS, and then they vote as an un-accountable democracy, for a Nation that is NOT a Democracy, but a REPUBLIC.

As a result, THE NINE SUPREMES commonly vote 5 to 4 on most issues. Constitutionality is seldom a consideration, and their up-coming ruling on Obama”care” will prove my point.

Now is the time to stand and deliver to address our grievances to the dictates of the Left.

Oppose the dictates of Dictator Baby-Doc Barack!

Our ONLY chance to ABOLISH Obama”care” rests with THE NINE SUPREMES, because Romney will be defeated by Obama.

IMHO, if Romney is anointed as the RNC Nominee, THE main issue in the National Election, Obama”care,” will be taken off the campaign table. Hence, Romney will not only lose, but suffer another crushing, and sadly typical, RINO defeat.

To those who want poster ideas, here are a few ideas for demonstration posters:

Obama”care” was robo-signed by Congress, and is therefore illegal.

Obama”care” was 2700 pages long, and is still being written, but not by Congress: witness the forced contraception coverage recently added by HHS Regulators.

Obama”care” has caused “The Catholic Spring.”

Obama”care” reduces competition, and therefore is illegal by the 1890 Sherman Anti-Trust Law.

Obama”care” is designed to be a US Federal Government monopoly, with no competition.

Obama”care” also is illegal according to the US Constitution, because it violates our freedom of choice.

Will THE NINE SUPREMES notice any of these three violations? I seriously doubt it.

Impeached Bill Clinton proved that the US President is above US Federal Law, so anything that the President wants he gets, regardless of the Federal Laws that he has violated.

He is not going to drop out, and there is a slight chance in a low-turnout 2 way race that he could be elected.

Whether he is elected or loses to Obama, which is most probable, the effect of allowing a two-way race Obama vs. wObama (white-Obama, a/k/a Romney) will be to ratify fundamental transformation. This cannot be permitted to occur.

It is essential that there be a third option. In a country that is 40% conservative, to have a race with no conservative is ridiculous.

Since nobody cares how you vote, or whether you vote, you must be trying to change the minds of people who are planning on voting for Romney.

You are going about this backwards. I already know all the bad news about Romney. That’s not the central question of the election.

The central question you must answer is, “How will Obama be a better president than Romney?”

Please, by all means, because you haven’t shown any logic, you can’t dispute that Romney is a wasted vote, and while we agree on how destructive Obama is..we differ in that in your desperation you will abandon conservatism for a false hope ultimately dooming us to the same fate. Make a case or quit pretending to be so reasonable.

He has earned the majority of delegates so far and is in the
lead. Most of the voters in the GOP primary are Republicans;
some may be unenrolled or even Dem. depending on the state.
For those, they could be either a) liberals trying their
own Operation Chaos to derail the GOP, or b) moderates
who might be fiscal, military, etc. conservatives but are
more moderate on social issues. They prefer him.

Maybe the GOP as a whole—voters—happens to be more
moderate than expected. People call him a RINO, but most people voting for him are Republicans. Perhaps it would
be more accurate to call him a Conservative-in-name-only
and we can say the party is now moderate rather than
conservative.

As we move through the rest of the states we’ll see
if he can become the nominee, and we’ll see if he can
beat Obama (or if Rick, etc., can). Maybe so, maybe not,
but so far he’s in the lead.
It looks weak, though, to demand a candidate clearly in
the lead in delegates to step down. There are other
options ranging from third party (oh God no, it would
help Obama) to putting up someone else in ‘16, who would be more conservative and more electable.

The delegate math favors Romney now, but who knows. (And
for the record, the Left is licking their chops at the idea of a “brokered convention”—it would make the GOP
seem indecisive.)

I’ll add that if unenrolleds are the problem, then each and every state should demand that only registered Republicans
can vote GOP. (I doubt that would happen.)

In my home state of MA, the number of registered Republicans is at a mighty 11 per cent. Not too many people would be voting in the primary if that were to be. Unenrolleds and of course
Dems far outnumber us.

Look at the bright side. If the Supreme Court doesn't overturn the Obamacare mandate, there is no limit to the reach of the Federal government. In that case, who cares who gets elected, the gateway to limitless government intervention is open forevermore. If it does get overturned, then even if Obama gets re-elected, he can at least be jammed by control of the House. I don't really see total death and destruction anymore just because Obama gets reelected. I do see it if this mandate passes the court, even if Obamacare is legislatively repealed later.

Well, then, is your position that we should just turn the GOP over to whatever POS is the most effective serial liar with the backing of the maximum number of corrupt zillionaires expecting their payoffs after the inauguration of the POS? This is nothing but a prescription for the destruction of the nation, much less of the GOP as an effective political vehicle.

Robamney won exactly one election, ending a string of "Republican" governors of Taxachusetts. He did so by cuddling up to the perps of the abortion holocaust, by giving personal money to Planned Barrenhood, by advocating the acceptance of "gay" perversion, by being a gun grabber, and by being a materialist meathead. AFTER he lied and claimed to have become pro-life in 2005, he established in 2006 his mandatory socialized medicine scheme forcing the Catholic Church and other pro-life churches and folks to fund abortions and birth control and other immorality through their premiums and providing abortions with a $50 co-pay and putting Planned Barrenhood on the Board of Robamneycare. Then, he ran away with his tail between his legs when his favorables dropped to 38% and turned Taxachusetts over to Coupe Deval Patrick, Obamanation East.

Georgia was no reliable "red state" when Gingrich first won election as a congressman there. Jimmuh Peanut was POTUS and carried Georgia in 1976 and 1980. Peanut had been GA governor when elected POTUS. Other Democrat governors since then included Ben Barnes and Zell Miller. Zell Miller (a generally fine man though Democrat) was elected to the Senate after serving as governor. The execrable Max Cleland was also elected US senator from GA after Newt was elected to Congress. So, let's give a rest to the notion that GA was a "solid red" state. That has no more credibility than does the Massachusetts mushball.

Pennsylvania? Solid red territory???? Puhleeze! Other than Ronald Reagan's campaigns, would you care to list the POTUS elections when Pennsylvania voted GOP??? Would a governor like Eddie Rendell (Demonrat National Chairman) sound to you like a victor in "solid red territory?" The late Governor Robert Casey was a moderate (not an absolute) social conservative but certainly not a Republican. Robert Casey, Jr., is far, far worse than his dad. VP Joseph Gaffe Biden is, as are the Caseys, a native of Scranton. Did you see the Republican Arlen Specter as a Republican in reality or as a Democrat Senator in training within the GOP caucus? Politically, former GOP governor Tom Ridge was about as conservative as Janet Napolitano or Willard Robamney. Spare us. Jerry Sandusky may have a future in the PA GOP in the unlikely event that he is not convicted and imprisoned forever. OR Willard can etch-a-sketch his post-nomination campaign by promising to the pervert American community that he will pardon Sandusky at the inauguration and name him to the cabinet (as a recess appointment, if necessary).

Mitt Romney no more believes in American exceptionalism than Obozo does. He will soon enough put a damper on energy policy as a pseudo-Republican advocate of Cap and Tax. After all, raise the price enough and maybe Ann Romney can drive both Cadillacs at once without all those uppity serfs clogging her highways. Of course, she more likely drives Rolls Royces, but never mind! Ohhhh, Muffy! Ohhhh, Skipper! Isn't the Mittwit just wonderful!!!! He understands our every priority and not just the protection and enhancement of our trust funds!!!!! No more "anti-choicers" or narrow-minded folks who refuse to recognize the need for same sex "marriage" or just icky wars. Mitt will attend yacht regattas and polo tournaments as America's most important sports events every year. No more of those loser peasants who cling to their guns and their bibles interfering in OUR political party! It will just be so wonderful!

False dichotomy..I vote for candidates that represente me in government, that share my values, and certain issues cannot be overlooked. I believe firmly in Conservatism. The difference between us is that while we both oppose Obama, you will vote for anyone whereas I insist on a minimum standard at the very least.

Given his general dishonesty, I would expect that the "wise Latina" may, by accident, be better than what he would appoint. Steven Breyer certainly has been and will be better. I think Robamney will appoint, at best, nothing but John Paul Stevens, a David "Swish" Souter, a William Brennan, a Lewis Powell or a Herod Blackmun (all appointed by Republican presidents) but NEVER appoint anyone worth appointing and therefore the old "The boogie man will get you and SCOTUS if you don't vote for a "GOP" ideological treasonweasel is not going to work again. I have voted Republican or "Republican for each and every GOP POTUS nominee starting in 1968, including some of the worst crap ever to be elected or defeated (Ford, Dole, McShame, etc.). That's all over with now and forever. I am not adding a vote for Robamney to those sins. If you don't want Obozo, then defeat Robamney before the convention or it will be too late. Without the support of actual conservatives, Robamney is not going to win and he can't buy their votes. He's got nothing worth voting for and nothing that can be believed by any rational conservative.

I don't care who Robamney chooses for VP. I don't care what additional lies he tells to snooker the sheeple. I don't care if each and every Founding Father rises from the dead to endorse Robamney who is nothing more than Obozo in white face. I don't even care if Ronald Reagan rises from the dead to endorse Robamney. He does not get my vote or the vote of anyone I can influence. Not now and not ever.
