Perceptions of morality: Survey

Posted on 03/20/2012 9:50:37 AM PDT by orthodoxyordeath

On this forum there have been some interesting conversations about the current youth being unable to think morally and critically. I constructed this survey to see how the oldest living generations think about morals and certain subjects in comparison to the younger generations.

if you could please take this, and share it around with your liberal and conservative friends, that'd be appreciated.

if posting this link is against forum rules, I apologize profusely.

TOPICS: Miscellaneous; Religion; Science; Society
KEYWORDS: culture; evil; morality; society

From the link.

“The full survey should take around 10-15 minutes.”

Sorry. You might want to shorten it down some.

It takes less than half that long. These are moral issues and don’t require a great deal of thought.

I would be interested in the results when they are published, if you would perhaps ping people who have taken the survey, that would be appreciated!

Stopped when I got to the Stem Cell question. You do not make the distinction between embryonic and adult stem cell research and just lump the two together. There is a big difference between the two and turns this into a “push poll”.

It really shouldn’t take that long, that disclaimer is only for those who read VERY slowly. I changed the notice to 5-10 minutes, because that’s more accurate for the average person. As Responsibility2nd said, it shouldn’t take to long for anyone else interested.

Thank to everyone who’s taken it, this is fantastically helpful!

That’s why the instructions say if you feel an issue is acceptable in some scenarios, put a 4. Stem cell research you can either be all for, all against, or alright with in SOME scenarios. Such as adult cells.

I took the survey but had to opt out on the last questions because of my old feeble eyes.
