Peyton Manning appears to have entered the home stretch of his search for a new landing spot.
The four-time MVP quarterback will meet with Titans owner Bud Adams, coach Mike Munchak and several other club officials Wednesday at an undisclosed location amid reports he has narrowed his choices to the Broncos and Tennessee.

I don’t know what you’re talking about. Reread my post. He beat the defense that was supposed to carry the Steelers to the Super Bowl.
Peyton left 30 minutes ago from Baptist Sports Park in Nashville. The visit lasted 7 hours. 14:30-21:30.
My bad..
My bad..
And how many times did FSU beat Tebow?
Hint: The same number of times Peyton beat Florida.
Who’s gonna take Peyton’s Place?
I predict that Tebow will not get traded if Manning picks the Broncos. I have a theory thats not a popular one as to why that would be so.
I’m a long-time Colts fan and people who really have Manning’s best interest at heart would encourage him to retire. Playing after that neck injury is one of the dumbest player moves I’ve seen. Every defensive player in the league will go hard for his neck, bounty or not. I hope he survives the next few years and can go on with the rest of his life. Irsay made the right call for the best interests of both the team and Manning.
The JAGS signed Chad Henne today to go along with last years first round pick Gabbert. Also the JAGS GM said no way in hell would he want Tebow and the owner backed him up on it.
Oops! I meant “Titans”! I sabotaged my own joke.
Dallas needs a defense that can stop...anyone. Romo had a hell of a year.
Player Att Comp Yds Comp % Yds/Att TD TD % INT INT % Long Sck Sack/Lost Rating
Tony Romo 522 346 4184 66.3 8.0 31 5.9 10 1.9 77 36 227 102.5
Romo is NOT A WINNER!
It is going to be difficult for any team to match what Tennessee offers to Manning. Good WRs, a top OL, solid front office and coaching staff, close to wife’s family, contract for life offer. What other owner is willing to offer up a stake in the team’s ownership?
>>I like Romo (kind of) but ‘he ain’t no Aikmen,<<
Ryan Leaf?
The difference; with Leaf, we knew right away. With Romo, we're livin' it every day!!
My disgust with Irsay stems from the two-faced dishonesty he’s shown towards the fans that have supported his organization and, in my view, the quarterback that gave his heart and soul (and neck) for it.
I, too, would like to see Manning retire from playing and move into a coaching position. A mind like that doesn’t come along every day.
Dude’s brain is like a computer when it comes to football but I don’t think he can operate video equipment. :-P
Maybe dishonest, but you can’t call him stingy. He paid Manning his full salary last year.
I don’t think I know what you’re referring to in Irsay being two-faced. My perspective would be that last season exposed the kind of hole that the Polians had left the team in. Irsay relied on them as the experts and I think they let him down.
If I would criticize him for anything, it was keeping the Polians around too long, for allowing Bill to bring in his boys, and for allowing them to hire a less then stellar replacement for Dungy. (Nice guy, but not an NFL caliber head coach.) The cap damage, the poor drafting, and lack of coaching over the last few years was covered up by Manning’s excellence. In the end, the situation was so bad that there was no way to salvage it and keep Manning.
Manning wants to win another Super Bowl, and it wasn’t going to happen at Indy unless he played for almost nothing. Time will tell if the new management will be proven right, but they seem to be making the right moves. Bill Polian was focused on making it work for his boys and put them in positions of responsibility that they didn’t earn or deserve.
