It follows, then, that my primary recommendations for safely regulating your cholesterol have to do with modifying your diet and lifestyle: Reduce, with the plan of eliminating, grains and sugars in your diet. Eat the right foods for your nutritional type, and consume a good portion of your food raw. Make sure you are getting plenty of high quality, animal-based omega 3 fats, such as krill oil. Other heart-healthy foods include olive oil, coconut and coconut oil, organic raw dairy products and eggs, avocados, raw nuts and seeds, and organic grass-fed meats as appropriate for your nutritional type. Exercise daily. Make sure you incorporate peak fitness exercises, which also optimizes your human growth hormone (HGH) production. Address your emotional challenges. My favorite technique for stress management is the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). Avoid smoking or drinking alcohol excessively. Be sure to get plenty of good, restorative sleep. Unlike statin drugs, which lower your cholesterol at the expense of your health, these lifestyle strategies represent a holistic approach that will benefit your overall healthwhich includes a healthy cardiovascular system. Good post. This info above is correct. Most people are too lazy to get off their lard a**es and eat right and excercise

I heard him and agree....the big problem is sugars and starches and certain vegetable oils....
to a certain degree you must be your own doctors...because they are too busy with pharmaceutical salesmen...

That is how we eat..paleo. No grains/gluten free, and no suger. Mostly red meats, grass fed and veggies. Feel better than I ever felt the first 50 yrs of my life. Arthritis is gone, sinus infections, gone..just better!

Frankly, 99% of the garbage on grocery store shelves gags me to even look at it.
I’m a big fan of minimal ingredient foods....like one or two, preferably.
I also take coconut oil caps and and colostrum supplements.
Great stuff.

Yes, coconut oil (raw, organic) and palm oil. Lots of Omega 3 foods and suppliments. I took myself off statins a year ago last Dec. My muscles and liver thank me every day.

I love William Douglas-The Douglas Report.
One of my favorite quotes from him is (I’m paraphrasing)—Let the cow eat the greens, then you eat the cow.
I think Douglas lives out of the country.
Probably because he would be censored in this country!

You just need some nice antidepressants.
Clearly, you’re not thinking straight.

Question. When you say your arthritis is gone, do you mean that the deterioration has stopped and you are pain free or that bone has started to regenerate.
Just wondered as my knees are smush, one worse than the other, but there is actual bone damage. (Who would have though sports injuries would have caught up with me.. ;-)
If you don’t mind sharing anyway.

I have been experimenting with fasting as a way of ameliorating rheumatoid (inflammatory) arthritis.
http://www.drfuhrman.com/disease/arthritis.aspx
Fact is, from day one I feel better. I have only made it to thirteen days (twice) so far, but I believe that if you fasted long enough you could get rid of the inflammation that causes rheumatoid arthritis, and if you kept your weight down and didn't eat crap you could keep it down.
Cartilage damage that is already done, however, is not reversible.
That doesn't mean you won't feel a whole lot better though. You can live pain-free with some cartilage damage.

My hands, ankles and wrists were painful and swollen with very limited movement. Now the fingers still have some enlarged joints, but I can now make a tight fist and have no pain, no inflammation.
I am doing what is called a Leptin Reset. Eat within 30 minutes of waking a high protein meal of at least 50 grams of protein along with some veggie (non starchy) and some good fat. No snacking between meal and eat lunch, protein, veggie and some good fat again (I actually eat a spoonful of Nutiva coconut oil off of a spoon!). And then dinner, maybe salmon (wild caught) some fermented homemade sauerkraut. No snacking until breakfast. NO HUNGER, NO cravings for sweets and breads. Been doing it for 2 months and I was a queen of carbs and sweets. It works. You may not ever get back your joints in perfect condition, but you can heal the inflammation and make them strong again.
