well we now know you’re a dumbass....
You seem to be angry much of the time.
This is your about 3rd whine and b*tch thread about Rush in the last 4 days. Did you call him and he rejected you on the hotline? ;)
rush may just be an honorable man who realizes that he’s gone a little over the line and seeks to make amends
Since Clear Channel(i.e. Bain Capital) is backing him, watch for a softening toward Romney. Everybody has a boss.
Rush got the mandatory apology out of the way. Hopefully, he can return to being an important voice but he’s got some bad road ahead to face yet.
Are you able to charge your sponsors confiscatory advertising rates?
Taking responsibility for what he had said or being the bigger person.
We’re going to have to take him down to a 99.2% correct rating!
Oh great, another vanity.
Because you know better than Rush about the broadcasting business and when it might be necessary to issue an apology?
Only for calling the gimmee girl a slut. Once he did that he fell into the punji pit and the only way out was to man up and apologize.
Rush takes his marching orders from his sponsors/advertisers and management. He’s compromised due to $$.
It’s one of the reasons I stopped tuning in years ago. There are other venues were people can speak their mind, and not be manipulated/controlled or face retaliation.
But you’re out of touch with reality.
It’s funny how you and many others on these various threads say, on the one hand, that Rush has a right to say whatever he wants, and then, on the other hand, turn around and excoriate him for saying whatever he wants. You guys are as fickle and inconstant as the leftist defenders of free speech.
Well - when no one defends you and your side leaves you hanging out to dry.....
Did you happen to listen to his entire monologue, today? That wasn’t an ‘apology’. That was an ‘apology with a wink and a nudge’.
Look, Rush had a lapse in judgment. It happens.
His misjudgment was not that he was wrong about Fluck (he wasn't), but that he walked right into the Leftists' trap.
This will blow over, Rush will still be on top, life will go on, and we'll get back to serious issues.
Above all, Rush is a paid entertainer. The moment this started affecting his income he folded like a cheap suit. It was the same way back when GM took equity from the bond holders and gave it to the unions in the most un-American bankruptcy in history. Rush had no problem taking money from GM while that was going on. Never had a bad word about the deal until the money stopped. Flame away, but that is just a fact!
