What the heck does he think he's accomplishing with his asinine APOLOGY? With his STUPID apology, he has just pandered to the left. He has just had his first "Don Imus" moment. Is Rush going senile? I just don't get it. Maybe the guy really isn't all that bright.
I sure do hope Rush doesn't have to be unemployed for a period before recovering from his little apology moment like Don Imus did.

I love Rush but he did owe an apology for calling her a slut and prostitute and asking her to post video online.
She was not talking about herself being sexually active. She lied about the cost of birth control but was talking about it for contraception AND for treatment of disease (poly-cystic ovarian syndrome etc).
Even if she WAS talking about her sex life he should not have stooped to the left’s level.
I am glad he apologized and I forgive him. In doing what he did, he made the controversy about him.
Look, I don’t necessarily agree w/ what you are saying here but it’s true that Rush effed up big time. He took a little to nothing story and magnified it 100 times to the point that it let Obama off the hook for his self-made Catholic/contraceptive controversy. Rush turned a big minus for Obama into a huge talking-points plus for the left.
I just hope it dies down soon. One thing is for sure - Rush needs to STFU about it but I don’t know if he is capable of doing that. He’s on the defensive so he may continue to talk about it every day and thus continue to keep the story in the news.

I am personally appalled that Rush apologized. We should never apologize for speaking the truth and the truth is this girl is a slut and a stupid one at that.

This apology was a slap in my face. He likes to brag about principles but I’ve only heard SPIN out of him since the apology.
4 years ago he continually trashed on juan mccain for eating sh1t sandwiches dished out by the left. Now he’s doing the exact same thing.
