Donald Trump produced a Youtube video from his office indicating that Santorum is over his head running for President after losing his 2006 Pennsylvania Senate Race by 19 points. The Donald has endorsed Romney and he probably finds Newt Gingrich acceptable. However, if Santorum gets the GOP nod, Trump may be signaling to us that he finds Santorum unacceptable and may run on a third party ticket. What do you think?
And Mitt Romney lost HIS Senate race by 17%. 'Nuff said.
Trump won’t run third party because his ego couldn’t stand the loss.
Hilarious. The only reason that this was an argument was because of Santorum’s electability. Last night blew that out of the water. What Donald should focus on is why his most coveted endorsement of Mittens was 100% totally worthless. Looks like the Donald isn’t as important to this process as he thinks he is.
Someone remind me, how long did Trump serve in the Senate?
“take the Donald....leave the Ivanka”
Santorum won 4 races, out of 5, in PA. And losing that one race sure didn’t hurt him - just look at Tuesday’s Trifecta.
Santorum lost big as an incumbent. Romney lost big to incumbent, Ted Kennedy. Big Difference!
If nothing else, Trump is certainly qualified to endorse losers.
Trump’s mouth has finally gotten him into trouble. Any credibility he may have had is waning, and he’s starting to look just like the supercilious blohard that he really is. Glad he’s in the tank for Romney.
Trump is blowing to the galleries, as usual.
Apparently, MY endorsement of Santorum canceled out Trump’s endorsement of Milt Romneycare. Bob
Santorum had 22 appearances in Missouri, Colorado and Minnesota, before these elections. Romney had 3 appearances and Gingrich had 2 appearances in total while both men were ferociously campaigning in Florida without Santorum in Florida. Big Difference!
Never mind that Mitt couldn’t even run for reelection as governor. He was going to get blown out.
His Lieutenant Governor ran for the top spot and lost by 20 points to the Rat. Hell of a Legacy Romney left behind.
But Trump could run third party because he works for the Democrats.
Mitt would have lost his governorship by as much or more if he had run for a second term. That’s why he didn’t run. Deval Patrick beat Mitt’s Lt. Gov, Kerry Healy, by 21% instead.
Since Santorum is disliked in Pennsylvania, which is a key swing state, Santorum is a weak choice for President or Vice-President. He cannot be counted on to deliver Pa.
The margin was 16 points, not 19.
