CNN just announced Trump will endorse Romney.
Trump admires his hair
I wanted to see what kind of reactions might come my way but it’s sort of the way I’m thinking today. I look at the way our country has been declining since the 1950’s and it’s difficult to feel confident about the future. We’ve been hearing the same thing from politicians for decades and every four years we go through the same gyrations. The corruption keeps growing, the debt keeps growing, the regulations keep growing, the bureaucracies keep growing, the taxes keep growing, and the same old lies are still being told. We keep praying for our nation but we keep seeing more oppression of our religious and all freedoms. There are not enough of us.
When you are right you are right. I love the way Romney blew the Donald off and refused to participate in his debate effectively ending it. That must have been pretty embarrassing. Then Trump endorsed Romney anyway. One moderat to another. Trump is not even a registered republican this year. I think he said he changed to independent in case he wants to run third party. Good luck with that Donald.
Yup - we judge others by our own core principles. As one wise leader said: Trust, but verify.
When someone jumps on the same life-boat with us - we believe he/she is at risk and has the same goals - to save lives and get to safe ground.
Hard to accept deceit in others whom we have entrusted with our most treasured assets: Life & liberty.
(Hairhead endorses Airhead.)
We have a winner folks for the caption of the picture of these two East Coast Millionaires representing the Party-E.
Trump’s endorsement was not the worst of it. He said that if Mitt becomes the republican nominee, then he will not run as a third party candidate, but if some other candidate wins, he will - in other words he’s an extortionist.
I never had much respect for Trump to begin with, but this definitely puts him in the low end of the sewer.
What a non story. I don’t give a whit who Donald Trump endorses for president.
I’ll bet most voters don’t, either.
Reality TV star, Donald Trump, who endorsed and contributed money to Harry Reid and Charlie Rangel will travel today to Nevada to endorse a Republican candidate?
Please explain to us why anyone would care.
Please explain to Republican voters in Nevada why they should consider the opinion of a billionaire from New York who endorsed the arch enemy of all Republicans in Nevada, and really the enemy of all Republicans in the US.
Hopefully, media reports of this event will include this delicious irony.
~~ Ron Paul
Of course - because you are an intelligent, discerning voter.
Sadly, this teaser has been the MSMs driving story for 48hours and gets the attention of people who are fascinated by Trump, his money and his showmanship.
I would have liked him to have endorsed Newt - just for the short attention span positive. Especially since Newt lent credence to the Trump-sponsored debate - when Romney said he ‘wouldn’t kiss his ring’. Wonder how much $$$$ and promises changed hands.
Trump has already blackmailed GOP voters with his proviso: If Romney is not the GOP nominee - Trump will run as an Independent. Extortion by any other name!!! He is as transparent as his nasty hair.
Even though I will vote Santorum in the Michigan primary, I think Allen West should be the VP choice. We are at war dammit and at least West would balance out a Romney ticket and the Republicans can play their own race card.
Col. West will never accept that dis-honor. He is an American patriot and would never be used to prop up Romney. He saw how McCain’s and Romney’s operatives attacked her to prevent a 2012 run.
Let Santorum do it.
Connie Mack endorsed Mittens and he was backed by the tea party right?
re: “I will not vote for Romney as I would rather Obama win so that the failure of America will be on his party . . .”
And when the nation is gone and thrown in the ash heap of history because of people allowing Obama to run the country - Who will care that it was the Dems fault? There won’t be a country left to save.
I don’t like Romney, but I like him better than Obama. If the Democrats are running the nation toward the cliff of destruction at 100 mph and Romney at 50mph - I’ll take the 50mph because maybe we can still have a nation left to steer away from the edge.
If Obama is 100% bad and Romney 40% good - I’ll take the 40% good. It’s not what I want, but it’s better than the alternative.
Apparently - he ran on the TEA party principles and voted against extension of the Patriot Act. Why he endorsed Romney is a mystery. Campaign contributions perhaps?????
Off topic - I don’t understand how he is a Florida Rep and his wife is a California Rep. How does that work? Where do they live?
LLS
Someone needs to keep a list of these tea party reps and senators that back Mittens and bounce their asses out of office.
So you don’t mind going over the cliff as long as it’s a RINO doing the driving? That’s very poor logic.
If I’m going over the cliff I would rather have someone driving that I can fight and overthrow and not someone who is supposed to be on my side. If Romney the RINO gets in and keeps Obamacare/Romneycare alive, and continues to destroy America like Obama is (which I would bet Romney would do) then he would have more of a chance of getting the Republican house and senate to go along with him on this bad ride and the American people would be totally screwed. With Obama in the office and a majority of Republicans in the house and hopefully the senate we can stop him getting anything more accomplished and any damage done would be on his head.
Screw Romney and all his RINO supporters. He’s as bad an idea as McLame was and as Paul is.
re: “So you dont mind going over the cliff as long as its a RINO doing the driving? Thats very poor logic.”
No, Jack - going over the cliff is a sure thing with Obama full speed ahead. If he’s re-elected that’s it. The country’s over.
With Mitt, there is at least a chance to change course. I would rather have Sarah or Bachmann or Cain, but they didn’t make it. I would rather have Newt (though I’m not crazy about him). Look, I’ve had this conversation before and I didn’t have much hope in changing anyone’s mind.
I don’t understand how not voting and allowing Obama a sure win and the destruction of our country to happen is a good thing. You work with the tools (no pun intended) you have and do the best you can.
You equate Mitt with Obama. You may be correct, but I don’t think so, not by a long shot.
Not voting for less evil is the insane thing. But, hey, do what you have to do.
