Mafia ? (Il zotto di pazzo)

Posted on 02/01/2012 3:44:24 PM PST by chrismac

It might be connected with the strange goings on around here : Our car stolen, with $4000 of damage; Our neighbour's healthy rabbit dying unexpectedly; Our neighbour's letterbox being destroyed; Curious spam emails about las vegas; The odd curious phone call; Faeces being smeared on our church Car windows smashed and things taken at church - they now have patrols as a result Breakin at church and organ damaged. Mysterious deaths of stars, such as Heath Ledger, Brittany and her husband, Michael Jackson, David Carradine, and others : http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2010/05/24/what-killed-brittanys- husband.html http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/31103217/ns/today-entertainment/t/david- carradine-found-dead-thailand-hotel/

Connect the dots if you dare, to see the truth.

Thanks, DC. This Thread has such a great family, it’s hard to describe to someone who hasn’t been here long. (Pre 2004?)

We all hope you spend more time here...we need BRAINZZZZ!

Oh, dear! I’ll be keeping her in mind in my long hours of wondering if the baby will ever fall asleep ...

(Tom thought the name meant “Dead Library” or “Book of the Dead.” A little Romance is a dangerous thing.)

Whoa!

“Liberty or Death!”
(If I recall my Latin...)

Whew, thanks. The eights post reminded me of a recurrent dream that I’m on campus naked about to deliver a speech re: which I haven’t a clue.

On a less creepy plane, I made a huge pan of fudge with pecans and golden raisins in it. Was hoping it would be reminiscent of Raisinettes.

My brainzzzz are over more than one hill...often can’t remember something until 3 AM,lol. Allergic to coffee now so I never feel fully awake though I am glad about that when teens with learner’s permits are driving my car.

“Free or dead,” I think - adjectives. My knowledge of French is better than Tom’s, but that’s about it!

FRiends to our north and west have snow, but we just have rain, occasional sleet, and a nasty northwest wind. Temps around 35.

Tom had to ride with another teen-with-permit (and her mom) yesterday. He was very critical.

It is French, but all the Romance languages are just similar enough to allow one to make very foolish comments thinking they make sense.

In Spanish, “libro” means book, “libre” means free, and “libra” means pound (of weight). I keep saying that the baby weighs eleven books!

"I keep saying that the baby weighs eleven books!"

A lot of the books in my library are near that in weight, being paperbacks.

It is also noteworthy that the abbreviation for "pound" is "lb", since it is derived from the Latin.

I am thinking of LoM, of course. Traffic is dangerous. We should all stay home and FReep.

Sometime around March 25 to head to reclass.
After that... they haven’t told us when we are headed to The Great Pit of ArfGarterStan.
[Or IF we will, they still might tell us, “Heeeeey, Manana!” on that! Two local units in my area had THAT happen to them.]

“...baby weighs eleven books.”
I convert money into pizza equivalents. When somebody makes a disparanging remark about, say, $40 off on a necessary purchase, I counter with, “That’s four pizzas.” (The bake at home variety.) I wonder how many pizzas Kathleen weighs. What does a large pizza weigh?

IBTKP? Crowbar’s first walk was at 0410. I ice-skated down the ramp lol!

Prayers continuing....
