It might be connected with the strange goings on around here : Our car stolen, with $4000 of damage; Our neighbour's healthy rabbit dying unexpectedly; Our neighbour's letterbox being destroyed; Curious spam emails about las vegas; The odd curious phone call; Faeces being smeared on our church Car windows smashed and things taken at church - they now have patrols as a result Breakin at church and organ damaged. Mysterious deaths of stars, such as Heath Ledger, Brittany and her husband, Michael Jackson, David Carradine, and others : http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2010/05/24/what-killed-brittanys- husband.html http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/31103217/ns/today-entertainment/t/david- carradine-found-dead-thailand-hotel/
Connect the dots if you dare, to see the truth.

There is a HUGH used bookstore in Tucson AZ, and I understand it has expand into the Phoenix area. The name of it is Bookman’s, and Igor and I frequented it in the early ‘80’s, and found wonderful things!
When I couldn’t find what I wanted (affordably) on the ‘net, Bookman’s had it.
They are good at paying for certain books and their prices are not too prohibitive. Perhaps you may want to contact them. They are actually my First Choice, and if you request a book from them, they will do their best to find it if it isn’t in stock.
I have to post what I write, because when I try to correct the spelling or rephrase a sentence, I end up blocking the paragraph and deleting it. I am so sorry...
Life sux without a decent mowse....
I am so disgusted with this mouse, it’s almost more than I can handle.
So my postings will be ... um... something else and probably few and far between until I can replace it... :o[
Thank you for all the posts. Fence nearly complete.
Deer get in some of the yards in our neighborhood, but our house backs only on other yards, so we don’t get them. Even squirrels are rare.
Jake got out twice this afternoon - frenzied rolling on the cement and a snoop through the overgrown herb garden.
Crowbar slipped past me and got outside. He ran circles around me, took off into the woods, followed me into the cottage, and came back to go into the house after I called him twice. There are carnivores around here that’d make short work of him. I’m relieved that he came when called....
Science Fiction books? Hardbacks?
...
I may need a list.
Yes, it is good that he came back. Ash wanders up the street occasionally, but everyone knows her.
Make a list, take it to the nearest used-book store, see what they want.
On the other hand, online sales might work better, as it’s no longer the 1980s.
I may need a list of what's available out of a certain library.
You’ve got mail
Crowbar got up at 0500 today. Perfect weather for giant-sized jacket over jacket-that-no-longer-fits. Gotta locate something to prevent left-thumb frostbite.
Good morning! What’s K up to? What’s Jake doing nowadays?
Kathleen is busy eating and growing fat. Elen’s carrying her around right now, so I can have breakfast. Jake is trying to get us to let him out, or at least he was earlier. He may have gone to bed with Bill, now.
We have a fenced yard, so we can let Ash out to go without having to be dressed.
An oven mitt?
(On the Undead Thread, be careful which questions you ask. Bob may answer. -- It's not a rule, just cautionary advice.)
The sun is actually shining with no clouds to disguise the event. At 6:15 it was light oustside.
And The Stig has been feeling poorly. He is losing quite a few feathers and isn’t singing much. About every three months or so, we go through this.
I’m very tired today, and I have no clue why. (Besides the usual, of course.)
Poor Stig!
Vlad lost a tooth.
The Stig is sleeping a lot. Sometimes, he would just nap, but lately, his head is under his wing. I keep thinking he’s going to fall off his perch, sooner or later, but so far, so good.
Congratulations to Vlad! Was it one of his fangs? He’ll need it at the next full moon, won’t he? ;o]
Lower front incisor. It shouldn’t be a surprise, since he’s 6 years old, but James is so slow with teeth that I got confused.
Thank you for K update!
Does Ashley have a coat? (In addition to her own, I mean.) We got Crowbar a coat, but he appears happier running around au naturel.
Do you think Jake would take off again if given the opportunity?
Yes, Ash (that’s “Ashdown,” officially) has a coat. We use it for her walks when it’s really cold. If the walk-er needs a coat, the walk-ee needs a coat!
Jake will go prowling again if he’s let out, as soon as he gets all the rolling-on-the-cement done. He’s never had any problems before the recent incident, so we’re not going to try to keep him in forever - just until his injury is a little better healed.
