Any cat (or dog) that goes outside should really have a microchip. I hope Jake turns up soon.
Thanks!
That's why the Father's mansion has many rooms...
Kitteh finding prayers UP
I think he does - Shannon does, and she came from the same Humane Society county branch. But that would require someone’s finding him and taking him to a vet or Animal Control to be checked.
I want to be in the library, where I’ll find all the sequels that authors promised and then they died before they wrote them ... although I’ll also go to the kitchen and wash up, if it’s needed.
That’s good. Not all shelters will go to that expense.
I’ve spent the morning (so far) cleaning out my hugh entertainment center, even though it hurts me to think of giving it up. It doesn’t look like I’m going to get into a bigger place any time soon, so the solid oak case needs to be replaced with something that provides more wall space and/or gives the illusion of “more room!”
Right now, I’m stuck. The center is ready to be removed, but I can’t do it until I get some of the clutter moved out, which is waiting on a “chopping cart.”
The rest of the stuff (for now) will take about 15 minutes to complete. *sigh*
I will offer LOTS of stuff on freecycle.com because a lot of it, though valuable, will not sell well.
Wow! You get your own room? Yahoo!
What’s the word on Jake?
Prayers continuing. Meanwhile, back to work. Will check in later.
Everyone else will be welcome in the library, too.
Jake has not been seen, yet.
Good. I could really use some new Douglas Adams...
I have trouble summoning the determination to finish some of my writing projects now.
What motivations will exist to coerce Mr. Adams to do this work?
I mean, if people are distracted now, with such banal fare as TV programs, what will it be like when almost anything other than typing will be more entertaining?
“They just make really good fires starters.”
May I borrow this rationale...it is sublime, almost as sublime as Doritos and avocado dip!
I see what you mean LoM, and TC.
“It’s impossible not to feel the loss of a loved one, and the better the person was, the greater the loss.”
We don’t cry for the other person’s situation, we cry for our own loss, because of the magnitude of change in our lives from the loss, relative to the love we feel for the person.
I’m thinking of my Father’s death, but it could apply to any close relationship. It just hurts, and that’s why we cry.
Prayers up for Jake, TC, I hope he’s OK.
They certainly are more expensive, but I do enjoy being able to munch on my firestarter.
Laundry lint and dry leaves need seasoning.
I want to other two books in the Walking Drum series and I want to know if the “Last of the Breed” had a sequel.

Help yourself to any rationale I can offer.
Can I blame the cold medicine for the double posting?
LOL, it’s OK.
I just responded to Amberdawn on another thread, and then welcomed her/him to the UT.
You can blame cold medicine. Me? Um,...I mixed up the two threads, and replied to both at the same time.
Perhaps I should go play some poker. ;-)
